Thoughts: There's one YouTuber that I follow whenever she wears lip colors, I'm drawn to and want the same thing. She wears the same lip colors as I do and I know if it looks good on her, it has to look good on me or at least I think so. The funny thing is I'm only drawn to her lip color and nothing else. This particular brand and color she wore often last year and it looked good. For that reason when it went on sale, I had to get it.
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the applicator.
Here's a swatch of the color on my hand. The website describes it as "a mauve pink-brown with a hydrating matte finish." I definitely have to agree with the color. It looks mauve on me.
Here's how the liquid lipstick looks on me.
Here's an overall look with Kate Eye Shadow in BR-1 and Skinn Don't Budge Waterproof Cream Eyeshadows in Non-Matte on the eyes.
Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and it has a slight scent. It reminds me of mocha for some reason. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's very simple and clean looking. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic, and there's no scratches and finger marks. The top is also sturdy. I feel a tight seal when I open/close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to carry in your purse, bag, and even throw it in your pocket. It also has the typical doe foot applicator that you find in a lot of liquid lipsticks. It's slanted on one side of the tip. The tip helps outline the lip and the slanted part fills the remaining. Third, the consistency is creamy. It glides on and does not tug on the lips. With that said, it goes on smoothly and leaves a nice, smooth matte lip color. If you are like me and thought it was a liquid lipstick that is transfer-proof, you are wrong. This isn't a typical liquid lipstick that doesn't transfer. It's just a light-weight, creamy lipstick in a tube. Since it doesn't adhere to the lips, you don't have to worry about it falling in-between the lines. You won't see fine and thick lines. Not only that, it's not sticky at all. Also, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing any lip product. Fourth, the color is pretty. It's a nice mauve color. I can see myself wearing this all year round. It's also a great everyday color. Pigmentation-wise it's decent. It's not the most pigmented but it is up there. Lastly, it lasted until I ate/drank. I have a tendency to wipe my mouth after each meal. For that reason, my lip colors don't last that long. It's extremely comfortable and not drying at all. I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips. I'm glad I got to try this lip product. I've been curious about it for a year.
