PopSugar Must Have August 2014

Disclaimer: POPSUGAR provided me with a complimentary POPSUGAR Must Have box. The opinions I have shared about the box are my own and POPSUGAR did not tell me what to say or how to say it.

I am fortunate to receive another PopSugar Must Have. The last one I received was the Must Have, April 2014. I also reviewed Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette that I received in the April 2014. For this post, I will focus on the Must Have, August 2014.

Here's a picture of how the box is delivered.
Here's how the box looks open.

"What Inspired Us For August? Celebration, Sweet Smells, Sexy Skin, Happy Treats, Beach Days, Summer Nights Out, Shiny Accents."

That's the description I got from the August booklet.
The first goody is from Kendra Scott.
I read online you either get the necklace or the earrings. I happen to get the necklace in my box, Elisa Necklace in Black Cat's Eye. "Add some extra shimmer to your outfit with this pendant necklace perfect for everyday wear. The black oval stone and delicate chain make this piece an instant classic!" It retails for $50. Let me tell you, it's a lot prettier than I thought. It also comes with care instruction and you can use the pouch as a cleaner.
The second goody is from Paddywax.
Here's how the candle looks open. I received Ocean Tide + Sea Salt Mini Jar Candle, and it retails for $10. "It's all about ambience - that's why we're obsessed with this hand-poured candle. With fragrance notes of sea salt and the ocean tide, this soy-wax candle brings the beach to you." It honestly does smell like the beach.
The third goody is from Goodbyn.
I received Purple Meal and Dipper Set and it retails for $8. "Keeping track of meal portions in a portable way has never been easier. thanks to Goodbyn's container set. Dishwasher safe and versatile, this set is ideal for packing food on the go." Here's how the container looks inside. The container is actually purple but it came out blue in the pictures.
Here's a closer picture of the dipper. I'm planning on using this as a salad dressing container for work. I'm hoping it won't leak.
The fourth goody is from The Mason Jar Cookie Company. I received Celebrate! and it retails for $12. "Make any celebration even more festive with your mason jar cookie mix. Just add butter and an egg to this premeasured baking mix for a delicious treat." The instruction sounds pretty easy even for someone like me who doesn't bake. I will definitely try it out this coming weekend.
The fifth goody is from Lollia. I received At Last Perfumed Shower Gel and it retails for $22. "At last, a shower gel that leaves you feeling clean and smelling simply amazing. Infused with shea butter and jojoba oil, this shower gel will keep your skin refreshed and smelling divine." I love how PopSugar really care about their packaging. This product was put in a bubble wrap. It's a good thing because it leaked a little. I just took the product out and washed it. It looked brand new and I hardly lost any product. I will review this product in the future.
The sixth goody is from Bite Beauty. I received Lush Fruit Lip and retails for $22. "To celebrate POPSUGAR Must Have's second birthday. Bite Beauty created this new shade just for the occasion. With nourishing strawberry, coconut, and avocado oils, this gloss is a superfruit smoothie for your lips." To be honest, I was most excited about this product! I own Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Blood Orange and fell in love with the brand. Not only are they organic, they're extremely pigmented. I cannot wait to play around with this baby. I will review in a future post.
The last goody is from thinkThin.
I received Brownie Crunch High Protein Bar. "If you need a quick energy boost, look no further than these high-protein bars! Packed with 20 grams of protein and zero grams of sugar, they're a delicious and healthy way to fuel your day." As soon as I took the pictures, I ate this bar. Let me tell you I'm not a huge fan of protein bars. I honestly think they are nasty and cannot swallow them. I actually found this pretty delicious! It really taste like brownie and it helped my sweet tooth.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I'm actually happy with what I received. I can actually use all the items in the box. I might need an extension for the necklace. It's a little too short for my wide neck but it'll fit most normal individuals. Secondly for $39.95 a month, it is a steal!

$50                    (Kendra Scott)
$10                    (Paddywax)
$8                      (Goodbyn)
$12                    (The Mason Jar Cookie Company)
$22                    (Lollia)
$22                    (Bite Beauty)
$124                   TOTAL

$124 total and it doesn't even include the protein bar. That's a great deal for $39.95 a month. Lastly, I love how versatile the box is. It includes from food, beauty, to containers.

Would repurchase: Yes!
Rating:  5/5 Tobey's Paws

I use Lollia WISH and it is absolutely fabulous. You should try that scent too. That candle looks superb. I love the jar it's in, so I can imagine the scent! What a great box!
