Manicure Monday: Zoya PixieDust in Stevie

A sweet friend gifted me polishes from Zoya.
Here are the polishes. I already reviewed Zoya PixieDust in Beatrix (far right). For this post, I will review the one on the far left.
This is Zoya PixieDust in Stevie. Since I did a thorough review of Zoya PixieDust in Beatrix, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the nail polish. On the website, they describe it as "violet sparkle." It's very true to color!
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, this is in-between thin to medium.
Here's a swatch of the nail polish. This was taken outside in the sun with natural light. Every finger except the ring (third from the left) is no base and top coat with 2 coats of Stevie. The ring finger is 2 coats of nail polish with Seche Vite Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... Since I did a thorough review for my first PixieDust, I will base my opinion from that. This time around I did not use a base coat per direction. I noticed the nail polish did not last as long as using a base coat and top coat. It lasted 4 days before I noticed chipping at the tip. From now on, most likely I will use a base coat. I'm not too sure if it's just this nail polish but Beatrix lasted longer with the base coat. I also noticed some fading in color. When I first painted the nails, I could not tell the difference between the natural color versus the one with the top coat. The only difference was the shininess. After 4 days, I noticed the natural color was lighter compared to the one with the top coat. With that said, I still love my PixieDust. They're fun, easy to use, applies smoothly, dry fast, and so on!

Would repurchase: I already purchased three colors from their Fall Edition.

It's so pretty!! A lot of polishes don't look the same when applied, but this one looks spot on! The shade is perfect~ :D

it makes me believe zoya pixiedust has different texture from other glitter/shimmer polishes.

Omigosh, that purple colour... so pretty! *u* Purple's one of my favourite colours to wear on my nails (and I barely put on nailpolish at that), I'd definitely pick this one up if I could! Thanks for the review! <333 *u*

PixieDust is similar to Liquid Sand from OPI. They're both textured nail polishes. I think this will look great on you with your pale skin! :)
