April Favorites

OPI Liquid Sand Nail Polish in Jinx, the Bond Girls Collection: So far I have only tried 2 out of the 6 nail polishes in this collection. This is my favorite so far and I have received a lot of compliments on this color! I did a Manicure Monday on this nail polish. You can check out my swatch. I am a huge fan of Liquid Sand nail polishes. They're easy to apply, dries quickly, lasts a long time, and they're just fun to wear. I highly recommend people to try the Liquid Sand nail polishes.

b.liv by Cellnique in Submerge Me: I've been using this serum for some time. I don't know if it's working on my fine lines, but it's extremely hydrating. It feels like a moisturizer than a serum. I love how easy the product is to apply and how quickly it sinks into my skin. It's very soothing and recommend it for dry skin people like myself.

Lorac Pro Palette: I actually bought this palette because of the matte eyeshadows. I love that half of the eyeshadows are matte. I don't use matte that often, but it's great for makeup jobs and for pictures. Last month, our family took a picture. I needed matte eyeshadows so I don't look oily in the picture. Honestly, I didn't think I would love this palette. I ended up loving it! It's easy to apply, very smooth, and just a great mixture of colors for neutral look.

Rock & Republic Blush in Call Me: This has to be one of my favorite blush that I own! I always come back to this again and again. It's just a neutral peachy-pink color that lasts a long time. You can check out the swatch of this blush. It's such a shame Rock & Republic stop making cosmetics. I would have bought more if I knew they were discontinuing. It's long lasting and extremely pigmented.

Smith's Rosebud Salve: I was using Nivea Lip Butter but for some odd reason, it wasn't moisturizing my lips anymore. That's why I went back to Smith's Rosebud Salve. This is another product I tend to go back to. When I find a lip balm/product that moisturizes my lip, it stops working and then I go back to this product.

April Finished Products
Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Complex: I received this product when I did a website survey. You can check out my thorough review. I am very fortunate to receive this product! It has helped with my skin hydration especially during the dry, winter weather. It sinks into my skin like butter and improved the texture/dullness of my skin. I needed less moisturizer with this product.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief: I used this product last summer until my skin got dry. Since this product was too dry for my winter skin, I had to switch moisturizer. Now that it's summer time, I went back to this product. It's great for my summer skin, but definitely a big no for my winter skin. This will be a great moisturizer for oily skin individuals who need a gel-like moisturizer.

Would repurchase? Most likely no.

Bath & Body Works Body Wash in Black Raspberry Vanilla: This is probably an old bottle, but I wanted to finish the product since it's still good. One thing I love about Bath & Body Works is the smell! Most of the smells are targeted towards people like myself who love fruity products. This body wash has a ting of muskiness, vanilla, but overwhelmed by the fruit raspberry. It smells great, makes a foamy wash, and it leaves me fresh and clean.

Would repurchase: Yes.

The Body Shop Body Butter in Duo Acai Floral: I actually bought this towards the end of last year. I was drawn to this product not only for acai, healthy antibodies, but curious about the duo aspect. I have never seen The Body Shop Body Butter in two moisturizers in one container. If you noticed the squirrel in the middle of the container, it separated the two moisturizers. One side has the lighter version for normal skin individual. It was a creamy texture and was easy to apply. The other side had a thicker version for drier skin like myself. It definitely was like butter! It was a hard texture and you have to massage the moisturizer with your fingers to make it a creamy. Once it became creamy, you can apply it onto your skin. Their both moisturizing but definitely, the thicker consistency worked better on my skin. The only downside is that it was hard to reach at the corners between the squirrel where it was pointed not curved.

Would repurchase: Not in duo.

The Bath & Body Works Body Wash sounds like it smells so good. Gosh, I wish we have Bath & Body Works here in Australia, I love the kinds of things they sell.

I found almost all the R&R blushes from sellers on the MUA blogsale site, here's the link http://muablogsales.wordpress.com/. They really overcharge for LE & discontinued items, I paid $55 for Mac's Ripe Peach Blush Ombre but I really really wanted it.

Great job on finishing all those items! Interesting how you always go back to Smith's Rosebud Salve. Sounds like it's your HG! ;)

There's no Bath & Body Works in Australia? I did not know that! I learned something new... hehe~ I'm sure there's a store similar to Bath & Body Works over there.

Thank you for the link! I need to check it out, but I don't know if I want to spend that much. I have to think about it.

I don't blame you for the MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre. I remember when that came out, I wanted it too but it sold out so quickly.

I love it too! It's extremely moisturizing. Did you use this during the winter, dry weather? I wonder how it stood with that type of skin texture.

Thank you! I have never seen the duo either all my years of using The Body Shop Body Butter. Maybe it was a new thing last year. I'm not too sure.

It must be my HG. I never thought about that until you mentioned it... hehe~
