Back in October 2012, my dad brought back the products I hauled online from Korea. This is my second haul.

I ordered one product from VOV.
Product Review: VOV Show Case Ball On Cheek in #1 Bebe Pink

Where to purchase: online at gmarket.co.kr, and vovcosmetics.co.kr
Price: around $5 for 12 g

Made in Korea

Ingredients:
Thoughts: When I saw this online while shopping, I knew I had to get it. I've been wanting to try products with balls. That sounded weird but it's meant in a good way. :P

Let's start with the packaging... I actually find the packaging cute! It's a pink with blue stripes on the side. The container is sturdy and travel-friendly. The top will not come off unless you turn a bit and pull up. I cannot see it open while traveling.
Here's the bottom of the packaging.
One thing I love about Korean blush products, they all come with a puff with a bow. It's so cute and very useful!

When it comes to the scent, it's floral. It's not noticeable unless you put your nose in the container.
Now for the balls... It comes in a variety of colors. There's light pink, brighter pink, blue, green, and whitish-pink. I'm sure it's suppose to be white but with the different balls, it turned whitish-pink or I could be wrong. :X I love the collection of different colored balls. It's so cute and pretty together.
Here's a swatch of the balls together. It's a light pink with shimmers. Depending on how much you apply the product the shimmer can be not noticeable to noticeable. The first time I applied this on my cheeks I hardly noticed any shimmer. The next time I noticed all the shimmers.
Here's how the blush looks on me. It's very light pink color. It reminds me of the actresses in Korean dramas.

Now for my overall opinion... I actually like the product. It's fun, unique, pretty, cute, and so on but it's not long lasting. I would say it lasts for couple of hours before I notice my bare cheeks. Even though, I know it's not long lasting I still like the product. The reason why I like this product so much is because it shows up on me. For the longest time, I've been trying to find a light pink that shows some color on my skin tone. I'm not tan I'm light in color. I would say MAC foundation NC25, but I could not find any light pink color. It's probably because I have some pink in my cheeks naturally. I also think this is a great highlighter if it doesn't show up on the cheeks or you can use both ways.

Pros:
* Cute packaging.
* Unique product.
* Sturdy.
* Travel-friendly.
* Comes with a puff with a bow.
* Scent isn't strong.
* Different colored balls.
* Medium pigmentation.
* Comes with shimmer; not noticeable at times.
* Shows up on my skin tone.
* Can be used as a blush and highlighter.

Cons:
* Extremely hard to find in stores.
* Not a variety of colors available.
* Floral scent.
* Comes with shimmer; not noticeable at times.
* Not long lasting.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Check out my first haul from Korea that my dad bought back:

I'm going to end this post with my recent bag that I purchased from JustFab.
This is actually my second purchase from JustFab. I bought After Glow Clutch the first time around. You can read my post on the clutch. I love that clutch so much that I had high hopes for this bag. One of the first thing I do at JustFab is read the reviews. 100% of the members who purchased this bag recommends it. WanderLust is an alright bag. I was a little bit disappointed on the ribbon on the front. They wrapped the bag so well that I was confused how could the ribbon on the front not be smooth. Even to now, I still don't know unless they knew it and wrapped it with paper wraps. :/ I also think the handle and the strap is cheap. It's made out of the cloth. I wish it was made out of the material of the ribbon on the front. Other than that, the bag style is cute.

I find shimmery blushes cute when swatching them but then when I wear them on the cheeks, I'm not too happy. One time I wore this elf bronzer thing, its not the matte one. Its the shimmery one with 4 colors in it, when you swatch it the shimmers look fine....but when I wore it out in the sun, the hubby was like..did you put some glitter on today? Your cheeks look like they have glitters. I looked in the mirror and yeah he was right. The particles weren't fine, they were so noticeable. Ugh.. So from then on, I avoided shimmery blushes or anything with shimmer. I would however use a separate highlighter and so far the one I'm using doesn't have noticeable glitter in it. hahaha

I don't like seeing blue eyeshadows either! I find it tacky.. I don't know.. Hahaha

The blush's packaging is so cute. Lucky girl. And your bag looks huge. How big is it?

I'm the same I wanted to try ball blushers... hehe~ Thankfully, I got my first. I hope you get yours! :)

I like shimmery blushes. I don't like glitters... hehe~ I like the glossy cheek look but not the sparkling particles if that makes sense. :/

What other eyeshadow colors you do not like? It's fun finding more about you... hehe~

Thank you! :) VOV is most known for their CastleDew eyeshadow palettes.

Thank you! :) I really love the balls. That doesn't sound right... lol~

I don't like glitter in general! Even on my eyes. Shimmer is fine. Glitters irritate my eyes..

Hahahaha. Well, I find orange looks disgusting on me. Certain greens too and yellow..Like matte yellow.. Hahaha.. It has to be goldish, is that even a word? Blue and red. You know those brownish reds? They make my eyes look sore!!!

Thank you! The blush is cute! :)

The bag from JustFab is actually normal size. It's not that huge. I wouldn't recommend people to put a lot of stuff inside the bag. I can see the handle or the strap stretching if there's a lot of stuff inside the bag. I'm actually going to exchange it, because I don't think the handle or strap is sturdy enough.

I like glitters on the eyes, but not on the cheeks.

Ahhh~ I understand. It sounds like your skin is very warm tone.

Whenever I use glittery eyeshadows, it somehow irritates my eyes since I wear contacts. I've had two eye infections because of glittery eye makeup =(

Yes. I guess so. I have to wear a neutral colored eye primer/base too because I have redness on my eyelid

Ahleessa said...

Oh, that's not good if you get infections from wearing glitter eyeshadows. Then I definitely recommend you don't wear it. :)

What primers do you use?

miemiemie said...

I mainly use the toofaced shadow insurance or just my MAC studio sculpt concealer. Both work fine. The mac concealer has a more matte finish.

Ahleessa said...

I cannot use TFSI. It doesn't prevent creasing... lol~ You're lucky you don't have oily lids as much as I do.

miemiemie said...

It used to crease on me whenever I put other products on my lids with it. Before, I applied some concealer first and then the primer and then the eyeshadow..that's when it started creasing so bad! It was terrible. So now whenever I use this primer, I use it alone. Do you use it with other products?

Ahleessa said...

I cannot use TFSI because no matter what I do, it'll crease. I noticed with UDPP it's more on the drier side and works better on me. I would blot my eyelids with powder to get rid of oil. Then I primed my lid with UDPP as a base. I can go all day with this.

I don't think floral scent is a con. But I'm definitely going to buy this.

Ahleessa said...

Floral scent isn't a con but for me, it is. I just like fruity scent. I'm really sensitive when it comes to smell. If something doesn't please me, I can actually throw up. It's not a good thing. :( Oh, I'm glad you are going to get this. I think you will like it. :)
