I received samples of Scented products. If you're like me, you have never heard of Scented. Scented is an online website that sells bath and body products. Their mission...

Here's a picture of the samples I received.
For this post, I will review the body creme. It's the container on the farthest right.

Thoughts: In all honesty, I had no opinion about this product. I have never even heard of this brand. So when I received the samples, I was most excited about trying the body creme. It reminded me of The Body Shop Body Butters for some odd reason. There was one thing I was disappointed about and that was the fragrance I received. I'm not the biggest fan of coconut. I cannot even eat it! Let me tell you what they wrote for coconut lime verbana...
"A zesty citrus bouquet of lime, kumquat, grapefruit, lemon, with a soft floral undertone of jasmine, on a background of musk and sandalwood."
In their description of the scent, there's no mention of coconut. Even when I apply the product, I cannot smell coconut whatsoever. Their description of the scent is very true to the smell while applying. It's very citrus-like which I happen to like! If you don't like coconut lime verbana, they have other scents. They have herbal lavender & lemongrass, black raspberry vanilla, New York, and mango mandarin.
Even though I did not smell coconut, I noticed it in the ingredients (coconut oil). I also noticed it's one of the shortest list I have seen and they're all natural. There's no ingredients that is harsh to the body, as well as, no parabens. The two ingredients that stand out to me are cocoa butter and shea butter, moisturizing products.
Here's how the product look. It looks very thick like body butter from The Body Shop.
Here's a little of the body creme on my hand. It's not thick at all! I wouldn't even say it's a cream. It's more a lotion to me. In my mind, the concept of a lotion is always on the light side. For that reason, I think of lotion great for the summer when you don't need that much hydration. With this winter weather when our skin gets dry, lotion will not cut out for me. Let me tell you I'm wrong about this light body creme. This product works better than any thick consistency body product I have ever tried! Yes, it works better than body butter and I hate to admit it. :X
I apply this creme right after I shower and it hydrates me until the next time I shower. Most body products only last me a day and if I'm lucky two. The first two places I notice dryness other than my hands are feet and legs. With this product, I never notice any flakiness whatsoever. The only thing I don't like is that you have to apply a lot of this product. If you grab a little, for example the amount pictured on my hand, it won't go far on your skin. It sinks into your skin quickly and does not spread like butter. For that reason, you have to use a lot. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend it!
Pros:
* All natural ingredients.
* No parabens.
* Hydrating ingredients; cocoa butter and shea butter.
* Sturdy container; it won't open accidentally or break.
* Smells citrus-like.
* Extremely hydrating!
Cons:
* Need to buy online unless you know a sales representative.
* Light in texture.
* Need to apply a lot.
Would repurchase: Yes, great for winter weather.
