New Year, January Favorite Products, and January Empty Products

Happy Lunar New Year!!! I cannot say Chinese, because Koreans celebrate it too. I'm going to make dduk gook (rice cake soup) for dinner. It's a Korean tradition to eat this soup for New Years and Thanksgiving.

I have never done this, but I have seen some blogs and YouTube beauty gurus do this. I thought I might start joining so people can see what are my favorite products for that specific month.

Favorite Products
Cosline Princess BB Cream: I will thoroughly review this product in the future post. For now, I like this product because it's very light weight, gray-ish tone, oxides to your skin quickly, and it's very natural looking.

L'occitane Almond Apple Toning Cider: I will review this in the future post as well. This thing smells like yummy, delicious apple. I am a fruity type of girl so this smell pleases my nose! :) It's very refreshing to the skin and I can feel it sinking into my skin.

Wet n Wild Coloricon in Night Elf: Unfortunately, it's a limited product that came out during the holidays. I hope they bring this color out again. I'm really digging the left column, middle color. It's a gorgeous, metallic taupe color. I wear this pretty often on the lids blended with brown on the crease and outer v. It's a gorgeous daily wear look. I reviewed this product and you can check out the swatches.

OPI nail polish in Not Like The Movies: It's one of the new nail polish collection from Katy Perry. I haven't mentioned this on my blog yet, but I will put up a swatch of the polish. It's a gorgeous duo-tone or at least that's what it say. I think it's tri-tone of pink, green, and silver. Can you say gorgeous!?!?

OPI nail polish in Black Shatter: I've been into the crack look like most people. I wasn't planning on getting this since a kind friend was giving me the Barry M Nail Effect one. I just couldn't wait and ended up getting the OPI Black Shatter. Now I want the CoverGirl Crack nail polish but I believe that one is hard to get. :X I will post up a look with this nail polish, as well as, comparing it to the Barry M Nail Effect. :)

Finished Products
Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes: I received this free and glad. I like trying different brands to find out if I like them or not. It works really well. It gets rid of the makeup and very refreshing. I'm just not too keen on the smell. :X I guess you can say smell makes a big impact on my purchase... lol~ I reviewed this wipes so you can check out the thorough review.

Would repurchase: No.

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara: I'm kind of sad to say bye to this mascara. It's one of the few non-waterproof mascaras that hold my Asian, thick lashes. I like how it keeps my lashes curl and makes it stand out. I reviewed this mascara and definitely recommend it.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Wal-mart Ear Care Antiseptic: I know it's not really beauty related, but I'm kind of curious if people use this or it's just me. :X I clean my ear' holes every other week. It makes me feel cleaner in that aspect. Do you guys do this even after the ears have been pierced many, many, many years ago? If you clean your ears, how often do you do it?

Would repurchase: Yes.

"I already did."...haha, love that! I actually don't make a point to specifically clean my ear holes. But if it's feeling irritated or infected, I'll wipe some rubbing alcohol on it. Maybe I should follow your example and pick up a bottle of that! :)

Nice products! Facial towelettes are always weird - I haven't found one that I like yet except for L'Oreal's.
PS. Happy new year to you too!!

It does but it's a good kind of sting if that makes any sense...lol.

Hey girlie, I would say that the lipgloss has a good pigment to it but the blush is lightly pigmented (I need to swipe it 2 or 3 times to see it). Hope this helps =D

Oh man, I feel like a ding dong for forgetting to mention the membership thing. =\ Don't quote me on this but I *think* the original price was $2 or $3 more. Membership is $10 a year or $15 for 2 years which isn't bad if you shop there often but if you don't, I guess paying the original price isn't too bad either. =)

ryc: For melliesh, those shades are the only ones I got :) i agree with you, some orange blush shades tend to look dull or make the skin looks sunburned -.-'' Are you very pale though?
