Product Review: Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in #549 Distraction

Made in France

Description from the website: Classic and trend-defining shades from the runways of Paris. State-of-the-art formula strengthens and moisturizes nails as it delivers long-wearing, high-shine, chip-resistance colour. Apples evenly without streaking.

Ingredients:
Thoughts: In my honest opinion, I personally will not buy a Chanel nail polish for myself. It's too expensive for me. For that reason when I was gifted this product, I was in joy. I never thought I would own a Chanel polish. I do believe people should own at least one to experience in their lifetime. For that reason, I am thankful for this product!
Chanel is very similar to Butter London in the sense they have an extra top. I'm not too sure why, but I would think the top with the brush would be easier to grab. I could be wrong.
Here's a closer look. It's a gorgeous peachy-pink color. It's definitely not the color from their website. From the website, it looks like an orange nail polish. This is true to color.
Compared to OPI, the width is on the thin side. The length, on the other hand, is the same.
Here's how the nail polish looks on me. This is 2 coats of nail polish and Seche Vite Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First, I'm loving the color. It's a gorgeous peachy-pink color. With saying that, I'm sure you can find this color in other brands. The color isn't unique. Secondly, the consistency of the product is towards the medium. It's not too thick and not too thin. It's a great consistency and it's creamy. It makes it easy to apply onto the nails. It goes on smoothly and there's no streaking. The lasting power is about 5 days before it started chipping on me. Even though it didn't last that long on me as I hoped, I still love this product because it was a gift! :)

Pros:
* Comes in a variety of colors.
* Gorgeous color.
* Thin brush.
* Medium, creamy consistency.
* It applies smoothly
* No streaking.
* No bubbles.
* Lasting power is 5 days before it started chipping.

Cons:
* Expensive.
* Not unique in color.

Would repurchase: No, because it's expensive.
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws

5 days! To me that's a long time, haha. My nail polish usually lasts only 1 day without chipping >_<;;

What nail polishes do you use? :/ I know that Wet n Wild only lasts half to one day, but with more an expensive brand like OPI lasts a good 5 days.

I use Revlon, Chi Chi, BYS, Skin Food, Maybelline. Maybe I'm just rough with my hands.

Hrmmm~ Revlon and Maybelline lasts a good 4-5 days on me as well. Do you use a base and top coat? If you do, what do you use?
