I was fortunate to receive a scrub from Perlier on HSN, an Italian luxury brand. If you're like me and have never heard of Perlier, I found this from their website that explains better than I ever can.

"Perlier distinguished heritage as Italy's premier manufacturer of Bath and Body treatments has come from over 80 years of specialization in therapeutic products derived from natural ingredients. The dedicated team of chemists, pharmacists, scientists and agricultural specialists that work in and around La Carignana are committed to developing the best conceivable care of skin, and the most powerful natural products that science can delivery - all with NO ANIMAL TESTING."

Now for the product I received...

Where to purchase: hsn.com
Price: $25 for 200 mL/ 6.7 fl oz.

Made in Italy

Description from the back: Much more than just a scrub, it is a true beauty treatment for the body. Various-sized natural minerals deeply stimulate skin regeneration while smoothing out the outer skin. With the energy of volcanic stones, it revives the vital functions of the skin and makes it firm, velvety, more receptive to the following treatments with results comparable to a spa. Massage on moist skin and rinse with fresh water.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: I'm always searching for the best scrub for my skin. So when I got the opportunity to try this product, I could not pass on it. Before I talk more about this product, let me explain my weird body. With the naked eye, it looks like I have no issue with my skin. It looks healthy and smooth. Unfortunately with touch, it's a different story. It's not smooth at all and you feel bumps that you cannot see with the naked eyes.

Now for the product...
Here's a closer look at the scrub. The packaging, as well as, the color of the scrub draws my attention. It's such a beautiful, calming blue.
Here's how the scrub looks on my hands. Can you see the different sized particulars?
I took a picture of the scrub after rubbing it into my skin for couple of minutes. Some particles were still visible, whereas, some weren't.

Now for my overall opinion... The first thing I noticed was the packaging. I think the packaging is very convenient. It's easy to open especially in the shower while my hands are wet. This is important or at least for me. There are times I cannot open a product because my hands are full of moisture. I also find this product easy to dip my hands into to grab the scrub. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the packaging and the color of the scrub is pretty. Secondly, it smells fresh. I'm not too sure what it reminds me of, but it's really cooling and calm. I guess that's perfect for spa-like scrubs. Other than the packaging and scent, I found the product easy to use. There are times I used this scrub with my hands, and other times with Asian style scrub-like towel. It's easy to spread and massage onto my skin. Personally, this might only be me, but I don't have all the time in the world to scrub my body. With the smaller particles, it dissolves quickly and I don't have to worry about it. The big particles is another story. It takes some time. The positive is that people are focusing and stimulating their skin. The negative is that it doesn't dissolve fast enough. Since I'm not patient enough, I just wash it off. Now for the most important factor, post-shower. My skin feels softer and I don't need to apply that much moisturizer. I'm sure some people don't need to but I still do. It's just my routine after I shower. I like to moisturize head to toe. I also noticed the bumps by touch is less, but it's still there. It's better than I had before.

Pros:
* Simple, easy to use packaging.
* Smells fresh.
* Can be used alone with hands or with sponges/towels.
* Micronutrients extracted from volcanic rocks.
* Natural minerals.
* Small particles dissolves quickly.
* Skin feels softer.
* Removes dead skin.
* Improves rough area.
* Need less moisturizer after usage.
* Bumps on skin became less or smaller.
* Not tested on animals.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Big particles take time to dissolve.

Would repurchase: Yes.
