End of last year (2015), I reviewed Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in HD Seduction. Revlon recently came out with new colors in this line. I was excited to try one color in particular.

This is Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in HD Forever. Since I did a thorough review of Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in HD Seduction, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color and I have to say it's true to color.
Here's a closer look at the brush. It's the same as the original colors.
Here's a swatch of the lip product on my hand.
Here's a comparison with the other Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor. The one on the left is HD Seduction and the right one is HD Forever.
Here's how the lip product looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Lorac Pro Palette on the eyes and I'm not too sure why I never reviewed it.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's a strong scent. It smells like vanilla or some kind of bean. It's not my type of scent but I actually don't mind. It only lasts for couple of minutes and lessen with time. I just compared it with the original version of Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor and it's the same. Secondly, it has a creamy consistency. It's gentle on the lips and just glides on. With that said, initially it's shiny. You can tell from the pictures above. It takes awhile for it to dry matte. If you're used to having lip products drying within minutes like liquid lipsticks, this isn't it. It takes a long time to dry but eventually, it does get matte. It's also not sticky. As I got older, I'm not a fan of stickiness. Third, I actually like applicator. Since it's flat on both sides, it makes it easy to line and color the lip. I also love that I don't have to re-dip the applicator. One side is good enough. If I need more color, I can turn the applicator and use the other flat side. Fourth and this is one of the lightest color in the range, I'm impressed how opaque the color is. Not only that, it's a gorgeous color and great for all year round. Lastly, it's nothing like liquid lipsticks. It isn't kiss-proof so don't think you're getting a liquid lipstick with this product. It lasts until I eat/drink. I always wipe my mouth after I eat that's why it doesn't last long on me. It's also not drying. I don't see white residue in the center from dryness. I wouldn't say it's hydrating but it does feel good on the lips.

Would repurchase: Yes.
