Happy Labor Day! I hope you have a great one. I found this cute picture from the Sanrio website. I don't know what characters they are but I thought they are adorable.
While shopping at Target, I noticed this nail polish in the clearance bin. It stood out to me. I have never seen this color yellow before. I had to grab it even though I have no clue how this Insta-Dry nail polish by Sally Hansen is.

Ingredients:
Thoughts: In all honesty, I bought this nail polish for the color. I have never seen anything this yellow. It's such a gorgeous neon color. I don't know why I didn't take a closer picture of the nail polish. I would if I can, but I don't have the nail polish with me. My co-worker asked if she can borrow the polish, because she loved the color on my nails. Let me tell you it's not true to color. It's not bright yellow as I expected. It's more yellowish-orange. I actually like it better than the bright yellow I expected.
The brush is wide. It's the size of the width of my nails. You can't tell from the picture but the brush is rounded at the tip. At first, I thought it was such a weird shape. After using the nail polish, it makes sense. It's suppose to fit the rounds of your cuticle so you can apply the nail polish once.
Here's how it looks on my nails. This is 2 coats of nail polish with Seche Vite Top Coat. Can you tell the color on my nails does not match the color from the bottle?
Now for my overall opinion... The consistency of the product is on the medium. You wouldn't think that especially in the picture above with the width of the brush. You can see the nail polish dripping. The initial application of the polish is easy to apply and applies smoothly. Unfortunately since it's fast drying nail polish, you cannot reapply what you have done. It ruins the initial application. I'm not used to fast drying nail polishes. I, personally, found this hard to use. I wanted to smooth out my initial application and I noticed the application got lumpy. I also noticed when it comes to applying nail polishes, I'm slow and careful. With this type of nail polish, I need to be faster. If you notice the picture above, it's a hot mess around the cuticle. Even with all that sad, I was impressed it didn't chipped for 5 days.
Pros:
* Gorgeous color!
* Wide width brush.
* Medium consistency.
* Initial application is easy.
* No streaking.
* No ridges.
* Lasted 5 days before chipping.
Cons:
* Not true to color from the bottle.
* Rounded tip; hard to use.
* Cannot go over the initial application to fix the mistakes.
Would repurchase: No.
