Allure and Pureology Event

I attended Allure and Pureology Event held at Byuti Luxury Salon on August 18, 2013.

As you enter the salon, you see the face of the September Allure Magazine,Jennifer Garner. I always loved her dimples. Then you sign up either for a blow dry, hair mask, or makeup. I signed up for makeup and the lady told me my schedule time is right now. I didn't have a chance to look around. I had to head straight ahead. A nice person did my makeup but to be honest, I think she could have blended a lot more.

Once my makeup was done, I looked around the salon. They had different stations. Here's where they wash your hair; pre-blow dry and hair mask. Since I stuck around longer, I was able to do another thing. I decided to get a hair mask since my hair is super straight. I didn't see a point of blow drying it. Let me tell you the washing, shampoo and conditioner, was so relaxing. I was falling asleep. It didn't help that I was kind of buzzed.

Here's another station where they blow dry your hair. If you look in the back, that's the station where they do the hair mask.

While you're getting your hair or makeup done, you get to enjoy the Smirnoff Sorbet Light. They came out with three new flavors; mango passion fruit, raspberry pomegranate, and lemon.

I got mango passion fruit. Let me tell you this has to be my favorite from the two I tried!

Then I tried raspberry pomegranate. This was alright.

You also get to enjoy some sweets. The waiter was friendly letting this girl and me take pictures.

My favorite sweet was the Oreo cheesecake. Yummy!!!

To end the event, they gave us a goody bag.

We got our own Allure Magazine for the month of September.

We also got some Pureology products; Hydrate shampoo and conditioner, and Colour Fanatic spray. I highly recommend the spray! They used it on my hair and it felt a lot softer and silkier.
