This will be my first review of Butter London Nail Polishes.

Product Review: Butter London in Muggins

Where to purchase: ULTA and butterlondon.com
Price: $15 for 11 mL/ 0.4 fl oz

Made in Washington

Description on the website: Not your mother's lilac nail lacquer. A opaque shade that's pale, but packs a punch.
Thoughts: Butter London is more expensive than I prefer, but I bought this during their special sale at ULTA. I believe people should try all brands once in their lifetime.
Butter London just like Chanel, you can check out my swatch of Chanel in Distraction, comes with two tops. I didn't take a picture but the round top has their logo, a bird with a crown.
Here's a closer look at the polish. It's very true to color. It's grayish-lilac color.
Here's a look at the brush. I tend to consider OPI as medium-width. This brush is on the thin side.
Here's a swatch of the nail polish. I applied 2 coats of Butter London and topped it off with Seche Vite Top Coat.
I've used this color before for another Manicure Monday using the feather sticker.

Now for my overall review... I wouldn't say the consistency of the product is thick, but it's pretty close to it. It's easier to apply in the beginning and then it got thicker towards the end of my second coat. I don't know if it's just me but I noticed most pastel colors tend to be thicker than other colors. Do you agree? Even though it's a little bit thick in consistency, it smooths out once it dries. I wouldn't say it's easy to apply, but there's no streaking and bubbles. Secondly, the color is very unique. It's grayish-lilac. I don't think I've seen this color from any brand. If you like this color, I highly recommend it. Lastly, it only lasted 5 days on me. The staying power is the same as most OPI nail polishes.

Pros:
* The color is unique!
* Thin brush.
* Easy to apply in the beginning and middle of coating nails.
* Smooths out after it dries.
* No streaking.
* No bubbles.
* Lasted 5 days before chipping.

Cons:
* Not sold in many stores.
* Expensive.
* Consistency gets thicker towards the end of coating nails.

Would repurchase: Yes.
