Orly In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile! I needed a break with all that has been happening in my life, as well as, some time for myself. Also, its been hard wearing makeup with mask. I have been makeup-free since I started wearing masks last year, 2020. I am slowly trying to go back to wearing makeup but it isn't easy. I will try my best to go back to blogging as well. For this post, I am reviewing a topcoat I am using at the current moment. I believe I got it at TJ Maxx around May/June of this year, 2021.

I'm not too sure why I never reviewed this polish from Orly. It looks like I purchased it in 2009.

I know it's not Monday but I was not able to post. I did not feel too good this past weekend. For this reason, the Manicure Monday will be posted today. It is a repeat of Orly in Mirror Mirror that I reviewed in October 2015.

For two weeks, I tested KKCenterHK Diamond Foil and it pushed my schedule back. I might not have skipped wearing polishes but I'm not up-to-date. I'll be back next week with a new polish for Manicure Monday. My friend gifted me an Orly basecoat.

Out The Door and Orly Haul

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I am so sorry I didn't get to wish you guys a Thanksgiving earlier. My brother and his family decided to come on Tuesday instead of Wednesday making things a little complicated... lol~ Whenever they come, they stay at my dad's place and I lose everything I own including the computer *sigh*. :X It's nice to finally have my computer!... wheee~ I hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving and went shopping on Black Friday!!! :)

Several weeks ago Sally Beauty had an online promotion (I mentioned things like this on my twitter so follow) and decided to take part in it... lol~ I heard good stuff about Out The Door top coat and I needed a new top coat since I finished my Seche Vite.
Product Review: INM Out The Door Fastin Drying Top Coat

Where can you purchase this: Sally Beauty, Sally Beauty website, online, anywhere they sell top coats
Price: $4.99 at Sally Beauty with Beauty Club Card, without the card it is $5.49 for 15 mL/0.5 fl oz. (I got mine for 50 cents with the codes)

Made in USA

Description on the website: INM Out The Door Fast Drying Top Coat is America's #1 super fast drying top coat! Out The Door's long wearing, high gloss finish will not yellow. Use alone or over any polish to accelerate the drying time.
Ingredients:
My thoughts: I was really excited to try this and hoped it dried as fast as Seche Vite. I am one of those people who cannot just sit there and wait for the nail polish to dry!... lol~ :X Whenever I use Seche Vite top coat, it dries within a minute. I can touch it and it has that dry feel. With Out The Door, I actually had to wait 5 minutes to have that dry feel. It dries fast, but not as fast as Seche Vite.

When it comes to gloss, it's not bad. I can see the shine but it's minimum compared to Seche Vite. I personally think Seche Vite makes everything really gloss. This has to do with personal taste, but both doesn't bother me. I think Out The Door will be better for matte nail polishes who wants a little gloss. If you want really glossy nails then I say go for Seche Vite... hehe~

Here's how the brush looks for Out The Door. I cannot remember if Seche Vite was thicker, thinner, or the same. :/ The brush is a typical size compared to other nail polishes, but it applies pretty quick. Since it's very liquidity when you apply it, it spread quickly. I like it quick the top coat is!... hehe~ :)

Pros:
* Dries quicker than most top coats; 5 minutes.
* Gives a minimum gloss/shine.
* It spreads quickly.
* It is thin not thick.
* Doesn't chip that easily.

Cons:
* Doesn't dry as quick as I wish.

Would I buy this again: Probably not because it dries too slow for my personality... lol~ :P

Speaking of nail polishes, I should show you my recent Orly nail polishes I have collected. I received two from the L.A. Beautylish event.
The first one I got from the swag bag was It's Not Rocket Science.
The second one I got from the vase on the table was Out Of This World.

The last nail polish from Orly I got was through Seventeen magazine. You take the coupon either from the magazine or from their website to any Ulta stores. You have a chose between three Orly nail polishes.
I decided to get It's Up To Blue.

Please check out my other Orly nail polishes.

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post are bought with my own money except for three Orly nail polishes. I either got them free from an event I attended or a coupon. OPI Nail Polishes

This is another post that is late... lol~ :X End of last year, I bought quite a few OPI nail polishes, mini and regular size. I bought them all over the place, but mostly at Ulta.
I bought this mini-size collection in Tiny Tinsels. It comes in three glittery colors and one RapiDry Topcoat.
The first glittery color is Berried in Gifts.
The second color is Amethyst Twist.
The third is Silver Belles.

I bought another mini-size collection in Senoritas. It comes with three solid colors, no glitters or anything, and one RapiDry Topcoat.
The first color is Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees. I wore this color out and fell in love with it! If you don't like dark black nail polishes, this one is for you. It's a dark gray color but my friend thought it looked black... hehe~
The second color is No Spain No Gain.
The third color is Pink Flamenco.

They both, mini-size collection, carry RapiDry Topcoat. I will do a quick review on this topcoat since I'm using it right now... hehe~
Product Review: RapiDry Topcoat

Where can you purchase this: any stores that sell nail polishes
Price:
not too sure

Made in USA

Information on the front: Quick drying protection for your nails

My thoughts: I think I've been spoiled by Seche Vite topcoat!... lol~ This doesn't dry out that quickly as it says, as well as, I'm very impatient waiting for it to dry my nails. It takes about 5-10 minutes after you apply the topcoat for the nails to dry *sigh*. It doesn't also put the shine on my nails as Seche Vite does. :/

Pros:
* It's a brand I trust.
* It protects a bit.

Cons:
* Doesn't dry that quickly.
* Doesn't put a shine on the nails.
* Doesn't protect when it's wet.

Would I buy this again? Nope!

Other than the mini-size collection, I bought two full size nail polishes from OPI.
This one is called Merry Midnight. It's such a gorgeous color!!!
The last OPI I'm going to mention is called Shim-Merry Chic. Love it!!! :)
I'm wearing this at the moment (the day I wrote this post). Today, I got a compliment from a stranger about my nail color... wheee~ She wanted to know the name and brand... hehe~

With all these OPI nail polishes, I bought one Orly nail polish... lol~ It feels lonely with these OPI... hehe~
It's called Green with Envy. It'll be a great spring/summer color or at least I think so... hehe~

I'm going to end this post with an earring I bought. I haven't bought one in such a long time. I think it's cute because it's so unique!... hehe~ This student I tutor, a second grader, thought it's ugly. The worst part is she thinks it looks worst on me than by itself... eek~ :/ LOL~
What do you think?
