Mont Bleu Swarovski Crystals

Beginning of this year, 2013, I was blessed to receive a package from Mont Bleu. If you don't know Mont Bleu,

"Mont Bleu Ltd Company is one of the world leading suppliers of glass nail files. Our glass nail files are made of high quality Czech glass; they are decorated by patterns, or by Swarovski crystals. At present our company is growing, and we became one of the main producers of the accessories decorated with original Swarovski crystals in Europe."

I took the quote from the website, because they said it better than I could. I was fortunate to work with them last year, 2012, and received wonderful accessories. I reviewed one of their glass nail files, and compact mirror. I highly recommend their products. Now only is the accessories gorgeous, they're great quality products! So when I received the package this year, I was shocked with the amount of accessories they sent me.

December Favorites and Finished Products

Time sure flies! This will be my last favorites and finished products for 2012. I just hope I finish the same amount or even more this coming year, 2013.

December Favorites
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion: With this dry, winter weather my skin has been extremely dry. This moisturizing lotion has helped my skin tremendously. I love that this moisturizer doesn't moisture my skin for in-between showers only. It actually makes it better with each usage. I also like that it's fragrance free. I prefer my  body products to be either fruity or not smell at all. I cannot image applying a product that smells like oatmeal.

Vivite Exfoliating Facial Cleanser: I've had this facial cleanser for quite some time. Since I only use a drop size of a dime and exfoliate once or twice a week depending on how much I think I need exfoliating, it takes some time to use up all the product. The reason why I mentioning this is because I just read my review on this product. I've had this tube since June 2011. Whoa even I'm in shocked by that! :X Either I need to exfoliate more often or the amount of product in this tube is worth the cost. Even though this isn't a well known brand, I highly recommend this product. It exfoliates and cleans in one step, as well as, it works well!

N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder: This is the bronzer I bring out ever winter. It fits my pale NC25, MAC foundation, skin. At first, I did not like this product because it was too orange. It actually isn't orange when you apply it. It's more on the bronze color. I also love that it is matte. It makes it a great contouring color for my cheeks which is non-existence, sides of my jaws, and double chin (I will need to lose  weight in 2013).

Smith's Rosebud Salve: I've had this for a long time too! I use this every night before bed, as well as, the first thing in the morning. It's extremely hydrating and the container lasts a long time. At first, I was not too keen on the smell but it actually grows on you.

L'oreal Colour Riche Smokey Eyes in Sultry Seductress: I love the color mixture, as well as, the application. It just blends well together and looks beautiful. I love it! You can read my post and looks I came out with this palette.

December Finished Products
Blinc Brush It On...Slide It Off! Eyeliner: This is a liquid liner that's really easy to use. You glide it on and let it dry. Once it's dry, it will not smudge and last all day. Not only is it easy to apply, it's easy to remove. I still remove it with makeup remover. It comes out like a strip of black tape. You can read my review on this product.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Nudecos Toner: I used this most mornings. There has been times I forget or don't have the time to use it. :X  This is the first product I use in the morning after cleansing. It adds some moisture, hydration then I followed with a serum. The application of the serum after the toner was smoother. Since I have dry skin, the toner gave me some hydration. If I used the serum without a toner, my skin would sink in and would require more. You can read my thorough review.

Would repurchase: Not this brand since it's hard to get here.

Scented Body Creme in Coconut Lime Verbana: This isn't a well known brand, but it's a great product! You can check out my thorough review. This product is so hydrating for a light product. It's even great for the winter dry weather. It also smells great! You smell more a lime than coconut.

Would repurchase: Yes!

I bought two earrings this past month at Forever 21.
It's a bronze-y green with white crystals. I was drawn to the color, bronze-y green. It's so unique!
This is a simple silver with white crystals.

For some odd reason, I have been into ribbon earrings. :X

OPI Nail Polishes

This is another post that is late... lol~ :X End of last year, I bought quite a few OPI nail polishes, mini and regular size. I bought them all over the place, but mostly at Ulta.
I bought this mini-size collection in Tiny Tinsels. It comes in three glittery colors and one RapiDry Topcoat.
The first glittery color is Berried in Gifts.
The second color is Amethyst Twist.
The third is Silver Belles.

I bought another mini-size collection in Senoritas. It comes with three solid colors, no glitters or anything, and one RapiDry Topcoat.
The first color is Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees. I wore this color out and fell in love with it! If you don't like dark black nail polishes, this one is for you. It's a dark gray color but my friend thought it looked black... hehe~
The second color is No Spain No Gain.
The third color is Pink Flamenco.

They both, mini-size collection, carry RapiDry Topcoat. I will do a quick review on this topcoat since I'm using it right now... hehe~
Product Review: RapiDry Topcoat

Where can you purchase this: any stores that sell nail polishes
Price:
not too sure

Made in USA

Information on the front: Quick drying protection for your nails

My thoughts: I think I've been spoiled by Seche Vite topcoat!... lol~ This doesn't dry out that quickly as it says, as well as, I'm very impatient waiting for it to dry my nails. It takes about 5-10 minutes after you apply the topcoat for the nails to dry *sigh*. It doesn't also put the shine on my nails as Seche Vite does. :/

Pros:
* It's a brand I trust.
* It protects a bit.

Cons:
* Doesn't dry that quickly.
* Doesn't put a shine on the nails.
* Doesn't protect when it's wet.

Would I buy this again? Nope!
Rating: 1/5 Tobey's Paws

Other than the mini-size collection, I bought two full size nail polishes from OPI.
This one is called Merry Midnight. It's such a gorgeous color!!!
The last OPI I'm going to mention is called Shim-Merry Chic. Love it!!! :)
I'm wearing this at the moment (the day I wrote this post). Today, I got a compliment from a stranger about my nail color... wheee~ She wanted to know the name and brand... hehe~

With all these OPI nail polishes, I bought one Orly nail polish... lol~ It feels lonely with these OPI... hehe~
It's called Green with Envy. It'll be a great spring/summer color or at least I think so... hehe~

I'm going to end this post with an earring I bought. I haven't bought one in such a long time. I think it's cute because it's so unique!... hehe~ This student I tutor, a second grader, thought it's ugly. The worst part is she thinks it looks worst on me than by itself... eek~ :/ LOL~
What do you think?

Haul This Week and NOTW #3

Since the last post, I haven't bought much of anything. I did go to K-town with my buddy last Friday. It was really nice chilling with her, as well as, showing her around the town! :) Here's what I bought at a Korean beauty store in Galleria Plaza.
I bought falsies (I've always been wanting to try this brand) and an eyeshadow. They gave me 4 samples (2 of each) and I gave 1 of each to my friend to try. Please ignore the earrings (pink hearts) which I bought at a store by my house before we went to K-town... hehe~ :P I bought the pink ones and my buddy bought black ones. Isn't it cute we got a matching earrings!?!?... hehe~ :X

The eyeshadow is so cute! :) I couldn't resist and plus I think it's great as a highlighter.
Do you see the little flower right in the center? How cute is that! :)

Here's my nail of the week (NOTW). It's nothing out of the ordinary, in other words, it's kind of boring but I like it... hehe~ ;)

What I used:
(L-R: OPI Base Coat, China Glaze in Ruby Pumps, L.A. Colors Art Deco in Silver Glitter, and Seche Vite Top Coat)

* OPI Base Coat
* China Glaze in Ruby Pumps
* L.A. Colors Art Deco in Silver Glitter
* Seche Vite Top Coat (Thank you makeup buddy!)

I'm going to end it with a cute picture of my sweets, Tobey!!! :)
