Lancome Renergie Cream

I feel like I haven't reviewed makeup in awhile... hehe~ I think it's about time I review this moisturizer since I received it as a freebie.

Product Review: Lancome Renergie Cream

Where can you purchase this: department stores that sell Lancome and online
Price: $80 for 1.7 oz or $95 for 2.5 oz (I got the freebie in 0.5 oz)

Made in NY

Description on the website: Rediscover your skin's youthful strength, firmness and resilience.

Thanks to a unique firming and anti-wrinkle effect that fortifies skin-making the skin plumper and smoother-this double performance treatment is proven to dramatically decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The result: Leaves your skin feeling "lifted", firmer; smooth and supple.
My thoughts: The first initial thing I noticed is the color of the cream. It's not the typical white, but more on the peachy-colored towards skin... hehe~ The next thing I did is smell the product. It has a unique smell. I'm not too sure how to explain it... hehe~ It's not to the point of it smelling bad and it doesn't bother me. You can definitely smell the product while you apply it on your face. It disappears after awhile, but not quick enough... lol~ I can smell the product for some time. I would say around 15 minutes maximum.

It's an extremely thick cream even for my dry skin... lol~ :P I only apply this at nighttime, and I wake up with very moisturized face... wheee~ It's the best feeling when you know your skin is moist or at least it is for me!... hehe~

It definitely leaves my face feeling plumper and smoother but when it comes to decrease of fine lines and wrinkles, I cannot say. I haven't noticed a decrease on my fine lines and wrinkles. Maybe I'm too picky on my face, but I feel like it never disappears... lol~ :X

Pros:
* Lancome; they tend to make good products.
* The smell disappears after awhile.
* Good for nighttime moisturizer.
* Very moisturizing.
* Leaves skin plumper and smoother.

Cons:
* Expensive.
* It has a smell.
* Not good for daytime moisturizer.

Would I buy this again: Yes if it was cheaper, but probably no since I don't see the anti-aging aspects of the cream.
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws

Other Lancome products reviewed/swatch:

I'm going to end this post with some of the lipsticks I bought... hehe~
Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in #235 Warm Me Up.
Here's a swatch of the lipstick color. I also have #015 Born With It, #025 Pink Please, and #135 Make Me Pink. Here are swatches of those lipsticks.
Here's my first Wet n Wild lipstick... lol~ I got it #903C Just Peachy.
Here's a swatch of the lipstick. It's more on the peachy side than pink. It's a very pretty peachy-neutral color. It's also a matte lipstick so don't expect any shine... hehe~ ;) I swear Wet n Wild have gotten better over the years! These are good lipsticks just the packaging isn't the most attractive... hehe~ :X

lol.. don't think i'm gg back to Europe at least for the next 6 mths.. longer if i'm lucky.. hahaha

Compared to blushers, e/s, nail polishes, foundations, skincare, I'm probably least interested in lipsticks/glosses.. haha but occasionally i still get suckered into picking them up..

awesome lipstick haul, alyssa. :) hey. sorry it's been a while since i last left a comment.

both lipstick colors are very pretty. i thought at first that the wet 'n' wild one was a blush. it kinda reminds me of a blushable creamstick. maybe because i got so used to seeing lipstick all slanted.

i'd like to get the maybelline one. i remember how i got the born with it one because of your blog post. hehe... i love it. plus, it smells good too like all other maybelline lipsticks. :)

LOL. yeah, me and my farmville addiction. i'm getting laughed at by people around me because my harvesting has a schedule. or they think i'm nuts when i tell them i have to harvest a bunch of tomatoes by the time i get home. lol. i see you like farmville too. great job on your farm, btw. i see it's growing and getting prettier. :) see? isn't it fun? LOL. :D

i'm looking forward to getting the heat protection sometime soon. i heard a lot of tresemme products smell really good. the dry shampoo smells divine. :)

i should definitely check out wet n wild lipsticks too. i remember those were a few of my earliest lipsticks back when i was still in school. i remember i had a bonnebelle, revlon, and jane one too. lol. it's fun talking about past makeup. :D
