I don't remember where I got this, but I believe I signed up for a sample.  I've been experimenting with all kinds of moisturizers especially during this dry, winter weather. I really need hydration for my extremely dry skin.
Product Review: Clarins Multi-Active Day Early Wrinkle Correction Cream

Where to purchase: Sephora, ULTA, and online at clarinsusa.com
Price:
$55

Made in France

Description from the website:
* Powerful and targeted early wrinkle control.
* Reinforced and continuous antioxidant defense delivered directly to the skin.
* Radiance boosting action.
* Dermal-epidermal junction repair.
* Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic.

Thoughts: My initial reaction when I received this was excitement, because I know this is a high end product and a lot of people trust this brand. I have never used this brand so I was excited... hehe~ Luckily for me, it hydrated my face which is what I look for in any moisturizer especially this cold winter weather... wheee~ When it comes to targeting my wrinkles, I don't know. I have wrinkles on my forehead, I hate to admit this but it comes from squinting when I watch T.V... lol~ :X I don't think it did anything to those wrinkles... lol~ I have accepted it's a permanent thing.

Pros:
* It's from a brand people trust.
* It hydrated my face.
* Smells kind of fruity. I love fruity smells!!!
* The moisturizer is light pink or maybe it's the light from my room.
* The sample came in a tube.

Cons:
* Didn't see a difference on my wrinkles.
* The real one comes in a tub I believe.

Would repurchase: Yes.

I've been wanting to post my experience with the Sally Hansen Kwik Off I received from a friend in Canada (click here to read the post on my gift).
I have never seen anything like this here, United States, but who knows since I haven't been searching for it... hehe~ I'm so glad I had an opportunity to try this product. It's such a creative, great invention!... wheee~

What it says on the back is "One little dip'll do you... remove nail colour quickly! Simply insert finger into center of sponge, rotate and remove. Kwik Off's non-bleaching formula contains Vitamin E and natural moisturizers to help prevent nail drying."
When you open the top, you will see a sponge filled with nail polish remover. In the middle of the sponge, there's a "X" where you put your finger inside.
Here's how my finger looks after rotating 45 degree angle. The nail polish I was wearing at the moment was Essie in Mink Muffs (click here to see the nail polish). It removed quite a lot just for 1/4 of the rotation. I should had taken a before picture to compare... hehe~ My bad!
Here's how my nails look after I used the Sally Hansen Kwik Off. I say it does a pretty good job!

The clarins moisturizer sounds great, I have been experimenting with a lot of moisturizers and creams too because my skin is so dry this time of year! Right now I'm using Juju aquamoist and it's been working pretty well.

I would definitely want to try a sample of this but the full size price is so expensive!

Ahh I use Clarins moisturisers! Sorry the cream didn't do anything for the wrinkles though.

I've only used a body scrub from Clarins. It's very luxurious and smells fantastic!!

I used the body butter that you gave me yesterday night! It sank into my hands sooooo quickly but on my legs, it took 30mins or more to be completely absorbed (too rich for my legs?). My legs felt soft this morning, whee~ XD

i remember having something like the kwik off. i think i bought it in target or kmart or somehwere. i like it because it's mess free compared to the regular nail polish remover you damp cotton balls with. that kwik off sure does come in handy. :)

mine was also a sally hansen one. i forgot the name though, but it also came in a tub with a sponge that you dip your finger in to remove all the polish. it lasted me quite a while too. probably 3 to 5 months. something around that time span. i should get one. i remember seeing some in walmart a few months back. my friend picked one up.

oh, it would be cool to do some blush swatches. in case you're curious about a shade, please let me know. :) i'll do some in the day light. hehe... i noticed pictures look brighter and better. hehe... maybe the swatches will show up by then.

happy weekend and oh yeah, happy valentine's in advance. :)

Kwik off is amazing! I used it a lot awhile back, but I stopped buying it when I needed an actual bottle of remover for touch ups. Hmm might need to get this again when it goes on sale =)

What's the most hydrating moisturizer you have tried? I'm battling a little bit of dry skin too so just curious =)

Hi there dearie! Thanks for naming that Korean noodle for me. :)

Kwik Off looks interesting. I thought it was something special until you said "you will see a sponge filled with nail polish remover. In the middle of the sponge, there's a "X" where you put your finger inside.". Okay, that looks easy. I think anyone can make a good DIY out of this idea.

Anyway sis, I really appreciate you dropping me a comment. Hope to "see" you more.

Lots of love,

I got a sample of that Clarins too..I think maybe it was from facebook? I can't remember but I thought it was great. I didn't like it at first because it had a bad smell..but my skin was so so dry and this did wonders. I also have a little tub like the kwik off but it's a different brand , I think I may have gotten it from Walgreens. It's pretty nice
