Picture Canvas

I got contacted by Easy Canvas Prints. For the people who don't know Easy Canvas Prints, they make canvases out of pictures. It's actually a pretty genius idea! It would make such great gifts.

When the PR gave me the opportunity to print one picture into a canvas, I didn't think twice. I really wanted to do something sentimental. I actually had to think about this. At first, I was thinking my baby picture but how sentimental is that. :/ Then *boom* I realized I can do my parents' wedding picture. It would mean a lot to my father since I lost my mother. It's they're only wedding picture. Our trip from Argentina to California, the men on the boat stole boxes of pictures. They probably thought it was full of expensive things. To me, it is expensive since it was our only pictures before we arrived to US. :( Thankfully, my grandmother from Korea sent the only pictures she had of us. One baby picture of myself, as well as, one wedding picture of my parents. I also realized it would mean a lot in the future. My future children will know how their grandparents looked when they were young! :)
When the canvas arrived, I had my dad open the box. He loved it and I'm so glad!!! :)

The website is really easy to use. They only have 4 steps.
Steps:
1. Choose your canvas size.
2. Upload your photo.
3. Select canvas borders.
4. Apply image effect.

I choose 20" X 16" with 1.5" Gallery Wrap. The 1.5" is the sides of the picture canvas. You can choose different types of border from none to mirror. I used the mirror image.

To be honest, I wasn't too sure how the canvas would turn out. It's much better than I expected! I definitely recommend this for anyone interested. It would make great gifts.

Thank you Easy Canvas Prints!!! :)

haha yes. i'm in san diego right now. yes its really good to be back but its making me a bit sad coz i miss my country more, now that my chances of staying here longer is pretty strong right now..so i'm a bit torn, but i love being here. i just wish i could bring my entire family along with my bf here with me..but they will someday..

aww photos can make quite a big impact don't they? when you're in your home country, you don't bother to take photos of things. but when you go away, you suddenly wish that you took a lot of photos to look back on.

haha yes, there may be better ones out there :) but i'll use it up for the time being :)

I might be back for either work or school. If I can't find any work right now, then I would have to go study first. Yes, I am an rn here as well, but its pretty much hard to look for someone to hire you right now. i have a pending petition which is taking too long..

I'm so sorry about your mother. How mean of them to steal such sentimental things, makes me so angry. The Canvas is lovely, such a sweet idea! So glad your father loved it :)
