For this post, it is a repeat of Ciate in Candy Floss that I reviewed in February 2016.
This is Ciate in Candy Floss. I could not find it on the website. It's either sold out or discontinued. I think it's the second. Since I did a thorough review of Ciate in Plastic Fantastic, I will base this on that.
Here's a closer look at the color. It's brighter on the nails than the packaging.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to OPI, the brush is the same in width and length. The only difference is the curve tip.
I applied Essie Strong Start Base Coat, two coats of Ciate in Candy Floss, and topped all the nails with Orly In A Snap Quick-Dry Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is wide enough to do three strokes and move onto the next nail. Not only that, the curve tip makes it easier to paint around the cuticles and sides. This is my type of brush. It's great for beginners and people who aren't skilled in painting like myself. Secondly, I like the packaging. It's simple and cute. I looked on the website and it seems like the packaging is different. They don't have the bow anymore. That's what attracted me to this product. With that said, it's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of glass. The top is also sturdy. I can feel a tight seal when I open and close. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For this reason, it's travel-friendly. It's easy to throw in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. It's also easy to hold with one hand. Third, the consistency is creamy and on the medium. It's not too thick that it's hard to work with. It's also not too thin that it runs while using. It's a good consistency and you can take your time with painting. With that said, it's easy to use. It goes on smoothly, and there are no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, it's pink. I used to not be a big fan of pink on my nails but it has grown on me. It's a great spring and summer color, and for work. Do I think the color is unique? No, you can find it in other brands. Pigmentation-wise it's up there. Two coats were good enough for my skin tone. Lastly, I did not see shrinkage whatsoever. I did not see chipping on the tips either. I am glad I got this product. I'm loving it a lot more this year than the past few years.

Would repurchase: Yes.
