Thoughts: When I first saw this, I knew I had to get one. I love my cream blushes! They're great alone as a tint or as a base to layer more colors. The packaging to me I think it's a little kiddish, but it's cute. I feel like I'm carrying something teenagers would use. It makes me feel young not only on the inside. :P
I wanted to stay away from pink blushes since I have so many. For that reason, I got Peach Satin.
I thought it'll be brighter than Candy Coral or at least it looks that way in comparison side by side.
It's a peach with a sheen of gold. It's a pretty color, but kind of reminds me of the Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin they stop making. I had to compare. I just took out my Maybelline Mousse Blush in #20 Peach Satin. They're not the same in color!!! The Maybelline Mousse is more frosty in color in comparison to this Bouncy Blush. If I had to choose between the colors, I'll choose Dream Bouncy! :) Sorry I do not have a picture of the comparison. If you want, I can take it later. Just feel free to tell me.
When you swirl your finger in the blush, it's very cooling. It feels great to the touch! It's not sanitary safe if you use your finger, but I prefer my finger over a brush. It's quicker that way or at least for me. Using a finger, you would use less blush. The brush will have to pick up more. Another reason why I use my finger over a brush. Another thing I noticed is that the blush is so gel-like, it's easy to put a dent. It kind of reminds me of Play-Doh. :X
Here's how the blush looks on me when it's only a flush of color. You can layer more with each usage. It is up to you. I noticed the blush lasted a good amount of the day. Then again it might be that case since I have dry skin. If you have oily skin, I'm not too sure if it'll last a good amount of the day to be honest. I think cream, gel-like blushes are made for people with dry skin. It's goes deeper on the skin then oily people; oil will come out of the skin removing the blush.
Pros:
* Maybelline; a brand I trust.
* Made in Korea; being biased here. :X
* Packaging is kiddish; makes you feel young.
* Good amount of selection in colors.
* Peach with gold sheen.
* Not frosty.
* Feels cool to the touch.
* Gel-like texture.
* Last for half a day.
Cons:
* Packaging is kiddish.
* Easily can put dents.
* Not sanitary safe if used with fingers.
* Brushes pick up more product then needed.
* Not the best for oily skin.
Would Repurchase: Yes.

ReplyDeleteNice review! I noticed it was made in Korea too, hehehe. I got Peach Satin too but I'm still testing it out. The texture felt so weird at first! I'm more used to it now though. =) Are you planning on picking up any of the other colors?
ReplyDeleteI still want to try this blush! The packaging is just too cute...haha :) You look great!
