I am fortunate to be able to review more products from Born Pretty Store. The first review I ever did was Born Pretty French Stamp Template DIY Kit.
I got two products this time around. For this post, I will review the nail polish on the right.
Product Review: Born Pretty BK Fashion Nail Color in Emerald Green Silver Shimmer #05
Where can you purchase this: online at bornprettystore.com
Price: $4.74 for 15 mL
Description on the site: Silver Shimmer, long lasting. Perfect color for spring & summer season. Get dry fast in seconds. Green Polish Guarantee. Does not contain toluene, formaldehyde, acetone type solvent, DBP and other carcinogenic substances.
My thoughts: When I first received it, I thought it was a lot greener than I imagined from the website. I wasn't too sure if I liked the color or not. Other than that, I didn't have any other feelings since I knew nothing of this brand.
I was glad to know the brush is thick! I've been using OPI nail polishes a lot lately and I got use to the thick brushes. You only need to brush three to four times on your finger and you're done. It's a lot easier compared to thin brushes which you need to brush gazillion times (a little over exaggeration) to paint your nails.
My first thought after applying the polish on my nails is how green it is. I wasn't too sure but I fell in love with the color the next day when I saw it in the sun. It's a gorgeous Christmas-like green with lots of glitters. It's so sparkling! I received tons and I mean tons of compliment on this nail color. It's probably the most compliments I have ever received on any nail colors I wore! :)
Not only is it sparkling, this nail polish does not chip! Whenever I wear a polish through washing and opening things, they end up chipping some way here and there. I opened a can and heard a click on my nail. I was shocked to see no chip on my nails! This polish is a lot better than a lot of nail polishes I have ever tried.
Pros:
* Shiny, glittery nail polishes.
* Multiple colors.
* Thick brush.
* Long lasting color.
* Hardly chips.
Cons:
* Hard to find in stores; located on the website only.
Would I repurchase: Yes!
