Nail Buffer, Nail Polishes, and Aveeno Winner

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile! I don't know what to say *sigh*. My personal life has been a little crazy, but I think things will get better or at least I hope. :)

Some time last year a guy from a kiosk at my mall approached me. He demo this nail tool on one of my fingers and thought it was an amazing product. I never knew such a thing existed! :X The only reason I didn't buy it was the cost until my friend showed me a cheaper version of it. She told me she got it from Target. I'm so out of the loop that I didn't even know they sell these at retailers. I decided to get one, as well as, blog about it for the people out there like me. :)

Product Review: 4-Step Nail Buffer

Where can you purchase this: drugstores, kiosk, mass retailers, etc.
Price: $1-$5 (mine was $1.50)

Description from online: A tool for smoothing, filing, and shaping nails to perfection.
My thoughts: When my friend showed me her tool, the only reason it intrigued me is knowing that it buffs and smooths the nails. I've been noticing ridges on my nails, as well as, how horrible it looks with nail polish since it's not smooth looking. I decided to invest in one. It doesn't hurt and it doesn't cost a lot either.

The store I went to has many different nail buffers. It was so confusing especially for a beginner like myself. I decided to get the one with the steps. There's four steps. You just follow the steps.

Step 1:
File your whole nail even the sides. Just make sure you don't do this on daily basis or weekly basis. It's not good to file your nails that often. I will probably do it once a month. This is the dirtiest part of the job. You will see white powder like substance, but it's from your nails since you're grinding it down to be smooth. ;)

Step 2:
Remove ridges as the step says.

Step 3:
Buff and you will feel a difference between step 1 to step 3. The nails feel softer.

Step 4:
Polishes & Shine... Your nails aren't the most shiniest as in the demo from the kiosk, but it's not that bad. It's shiner than your natural nails or at least for me.

I wanted to show you a before and after, but my camera couldn't focus on the nails *sigh*. You just have to trust my words. ;) Overall, I am very happy with this product. I love how smooth my nails look and feel. I don't see the ridges on the sides, as well as, dents in my nails. The best part the nail polishes go on smoother than before!

Pros:
* Comes in different teal/blue color; my favorite color.
* Easy to use.
* Comes with steps; great for beginners.
* You can clean it with water.
* File and smooths your nails.
* Makes your nails shinier than your natural nails
* Applies nail polishes easier.

Cons:
* While filing, it can get dirty.

Would I repurchase: Yes!

Speaking of nails, I recently got some nail polishes. Either I bought them or they were given as gifts.
Revlon in #355 Mad About Mango.
Priti NYC Polish in #652 Swan River Daisy. I have never heard of this brand, but I received it through mail. I'm not too sure but I think I entered a contest and won this. :/
OPI in Go on Greens! The same friend who introduced me to nail buffers bought this polish for me.
OPI in Don't Melbourne The Toast. It's such a gorgeous color even on your toes!

Now for the winner of Aveeno Positively Radiant Eye Illuminator...
it is...
#24...
Crystal.

Congratulation to Crystal! :)
