Tangle Teezer The Ultimate Vented Hairbrush in Lilac Cloud Large

I was fortunate to receive some products from Tangle Teezer thanks to Influenster.

Here are the products I got. I already reviewed Tangle Teezer The Ultimate Styler in Millennial Pink (right). For this post, I will review the brush on the left.

This is Tangle Teezer The Ultimate Vented Hairbrush in Lilac Cloud Large. Since I did a thorough review of Tangle Teezer The Original in Plum Delicious, I will base this on that.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I actually like the shape of the brush. It's wide and the handle is long enough to grab. With that said, I am not too sure why there's a dent on the back of the handle. I find it a little uncomfortable. You can feel it when you hold the handle or at least I can. It puts pressure on the palm of the hand. The bristles are nice, same length, and made out of plastic. It has a pointy tip but since you are using it to blow-dry the hair, you do not feel the pointiness. I also like that there's a vent in the center of the bristles. Per website, the vent helps turn up the volume while leaving you with a frizz-free style. I looked on the website and there are two sizes; regular and large. Large is meant for people with longer hair like myself. You can choose from three colors. I prefer black but I am not mad with this color, Lilac Cloud. It's actually really pretty in person. Also, it's made out of thick plastic but it doesn't look cheap. The other brush I received looked and felt cheap. Secondly, I did use it while blow drying. I think it will be better for people who have frizzy and/or not straight hair. Since I have super duper straight hair, I got the same result as blow drying with my fingers. It's faster for me to blow dry with high heat, as well as, with my fingers. For this reason, I stopped using after several tries. Plus, they do not recommend using the brush with high heat. I am used to using high heat even though it's not good for the hair. I prefer doing my hair fast than spending some time on it. You can say I am lazy when it comes to doing my hair. With that said and after using the brush, my hair looked sleek and shiny. Lastly, my hair looked good the next morning. I only blow-dry right after showering. I do not do anything in-between showers. My hair kept the shininess and the sleek look in-between showers. I am glad I got this product. If you need a good blow drying brush, I recommend this.
