Earlier this month October 2014, I attended Beauty Press Spotlight Day Event 2014 in Los Angeles.

I took this picture from my Instagram. These were the products I received that day either directly from the brand or in my goody bag. I was lucky enough to meet couple of great ladies who represent Mirabella.
I received three products from their Holiday Collection Faerie. I posted a press release of their Holiday Collection Faerie so check it. For this post, I will focus on the travel brush set on the far left.
Product Review: Mirabella Travel Brush Set

Where to purchase: salons that sell Mirabella Beauty and online at mirabellabeauty.com

Made in China

Description from the package: Best-selling brushes made mini! Perfect for traveling or trucking in our purse. Brushes are made of the finest quality materials and feature exclusive brushed aluminum handles.
Thoughts: When the PR handed me the travel brush set, my mouth dropped not in literal sense. I wanted to look professional but shocked in a good way. I was extremely stoke! When it comes to brushes, I love them and for that reason I was extremely happy.
Here's a closer picture of the brushes. I love how it's gold on the bottom and silver on top. It really does fit with the holiday theme.

Now for the brushes...
The first brush is Face Blender. It's described as "circular face blender brush provides lightweight product application. All-purpose synthetic blended hair works well with cream and powder products."
The second brush is Blush Contour. It's described as "full, luxurious blush brush diffuses color for natural contouring and sculpting. Zgf goat hair."
Third brush is Eye Blender. It's described as "fluffy eye blender brush fuses shadow to create a naturally sculpted eye. Tapered, domed shape provides easy and flawless application. Bjf goat hair."
Fourth is the Flat Eyeshadow. It's described as "synthetic blend designed to work specifically with creamy eyeshadow textures."
Fifth and last brush is the Angle Brow. It's described as "precise sable angle brow brush expertly shapes and defines natural-looking brows."
Not only that, it came with a black, case.
Here's the other side of the case.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I really love the handles. It's so unique and extremely well made. I love that it has multiple colors, gold and silver. Not only that, it doesn't grab fingerprints. Secondly while washing, I was impressed there was no shedding. That's a huge plus in my opinion! It tells me the hair on the brushes are intact. Third, the brushes are extremely soft on the skin. The least softest one is the Blush Contour and that's not even rough. With that said if you're looking for dense brushes, these aren't it. It all depends on the individual. I prefer my brushes not to be dense but that's just me. I did notice, before and after washing, the Blush Contour and Eye Blender has some hair on the outside sticking out. Even though they are sticking out, it still works to the best possible. Fourth, the case the brushes came with is well made. I did not notice any threads sticking out. Growing up, my parents always made me look at the sewing job (they own a sewing company). They told me the quality of the clothes is how it's sewn. With that said, I was impressed with the sewing. It's sewn straight, no loose threads, and no threads sticking out at the end. Lastly, this is great for traveling but I also think you can use it in daily basis at home. The only thing is the handles can get in the way. They're not long. I found them easy except the Flat Eyeshadow. They seem small for my big hand.

Pros:
* Mirabella; professional brand for makeup artists.
* Unique, aluminum handles.
* Does not grab fingerprints.
* Made from finest quality materials.
* Soft on the skin.
* There was no shedding.
* Great for traveling.
* Case is well-made.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.

Would repurchase: Yes.
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

I agree! I cannot stand fall outs especially while applying makeup, and you have that one loose hair from the brush stuck on your face. Okay, I'm descriptive... hehe~
