When this particular mascara came out from Urban Decay, they were giving out samples. I cannot remember where but I believe it was from their website.

Product Review: Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara

Where to purchase: Sephora, ULTA, and online at urbandecay.com
Price: $24 for 7.3 g/ 0.25 oz (sample is 2.5 g/ 0.08 oz)

Description from the packaging: Get SEXY, FLUTTERY, INTENSELY BLACK lashes and cause all kinds of trouble. So good it should be illegal, TROUBLEMAKER volumizes and lengthens as it separates, while our custom brush grabs onto lashes, curling as it coats. We loaded up this mascara with insane benefits-for impossibly long, perfectly fanned-out lashes. Our failsafe formula outlasts even the most scandalous nights, and still looks good in the morning.

Thoughts: I've always been a fan of Urban Decay with whatever comes out. For that reason when I saw they were giving out samples of their newest mascara at that time, I had to get one.
Here's a closer look at the wand. I apologize for the bad quality picture. It look fine when I took the pictures. When I edited it, it wasn't that great.
Here's how the mascara looks on me. I know it's hard when my eyes are semi-closed.
Here's another look of the mascara on me at a different angle.
Here's an overall look. I have Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eye Shadow Palette on the eyes.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and it has a slight scent. Usually mascaras have a stronger scent when sniffed. Secondly, I cannot talk about the packaging since I have the sample. From what I can tell from the website, it looks really pretty. It will draw me or anyone else who are into packaging. With that said, I wasn't a big fan of the wand. It looks like it's made out of plastic especially the bristles. Having Asian eyes, our lashes are not blessed. I have to dig into my lashes as close to the root as possible. The wand would pick on my skin and it's kind of painful at times. With time, I tend to get better but I didn't with this particular mascara. I'm not too sure if it's because it's a sample or the mascara is just made that way. To be honest, I don't want to buy the full-size to figure that out. I also noticed the bristles on the wand are shorter than most mascaras I have seen or at least from my observation. There isn't that much bristles either but it's possible it just looks that way from the short length. It looks like a straight wand with little spikes. Third, the consistency is medium. It's wasn't too liquidity that I had mascara marks all over my eyes. It also wasn't too thick that it was hard to work with. It was a good consistency that I tend to look for. It did a good job of keeping the curls. Having straight lashes, non-waterproof mascaras tend to weigh the lashes down. This mascara didn't. It kept the curls. At times it looked like it lengthen my lashes but not by much. It does a good job of lengthening. I wouldn't say the best but it might be because it didn't give me volume. I tend to like volume more so than length. For having Asian lashes, the length is decent. It's not the best but it's definitely not that bad. The issue I have is not having enough lashes. For that reason, I tend to look more so for volume. It coated the lashes I have but it didn't look like I had more than what I was blessed with. Lastly, I'm glad I got to try this mascara. I think it'll be great for non-Asian lashes or Asian with blessed lashes. Unfortunately, I don't fit either. This was alright for me but definitely was not the best I have ever tried. It's also not the worst.

Pros:
* No noticeable scent while applying.
* Medium consistency.
* Does not weigh the lashes down.
* Lengthens good.

Cons:
* Bristles are made out of plastic.
* Bristles are short.
* Less noticeable bristles.
* Did not give me volume.

Would repurchase: No.
