Thoughts: I've been curious about Anastasia lipsticks. So when these came out, I thought it was a good opportunity to try these mini lipsticks.
The set comes in four mini lipsticks. It has her logo on the top of the tube and inside of the tube that holds the lipsticks.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the lipsticks and there's no scent whatsoever. Secondly, the packaging is nice. I cannot compare to the full-size lipsticks since I don't own any. With that said, I will talk about the mini-size lipsticks. It's sleek and professional looking. I like how it's black with silver bottom. Anastasia's logo is on the top and the word is written on the side of the top tube. It's well-made and sturdy. It's made out of thick plastic, and there's no scratches and finger marks. The top is also sturdy. The top makes a clicking noise when I close it. I also feel a tight seal when I open and close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Since it's so small, it's easy to carry. You can put it in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. Third, the consistency is creamy matte. It's easy to apply but I do recommend hydrating your lips before applying. If you have dry lips like I do, it takes some effort to apply. Whenever I hydrate with a lip balm, it goes on smoothly and does not tug on the lips. If you're not into matte lipsticks, then this isn't for you. I tend to like matte over glossy or at least the last several years. Since they are matte, you do have to exfoliate your lips before using. It will show imperfections especially dry, chapped lips. Fourth, the colors are nice. It ranges from light pink to neutral to darker purple. Soft Pink is great for spring and summer season. It's a great everyday color. Kiss and Spice is great all year round. It'll be a great everyday color as well, and great with smokey eye makeup. Dead Roses is great for fall and winter season. It'll also be great for the night out. With that said, I have to say Spice was my favorite. It's something I can see myself wearing. I tend to grab towards warm neutral colors. Pigmentation-wise it's not the most pigmented but it's doable. One layer showed up on me but then again, most colors do. If you're darker or have darker lip tones, you might have to layer several times for it to show. Lastly, it lasted until I ate. I have a tendency to wipe my mouth after I eat. For that reason, lipsticks don't last long on me. With that said, it's comfortable and not drying at all. I did not see any white residue in the center of the lips. I'm glad I got to try these lipsticks. It's a hit or a miss type of colors. I cannot see myself reaching for Soft Pink, but I know Kiss and Spice will get good use from me.

* Nice, sleek, professional looking packaging.
* Well-made and sturdy packaging.
