End of April, I purchased Dose of Colors from Naimies. If you know about Dose of Colors, most of the matte lipsticks are bright and opaque. When I first saw the Terra Collection on Instagram, I knew I had to get it. I'm a huge fan of neutral everything. Not only that knowing it's limited edition, I wanted it more.

Ingredients:
Thoughts: This isn't my first Dose of Colors. I actually bought one at The Makeup Show Los Angeles 2015 Part 2. Even though I bought one, I still haven't tried it. For that reason, this is my first Dose of Colors that I have played with.
The Terra Collection comes with three matte lipsticks. This is Brick.
Here's Sand.
The last one is Stone.
Since the applicators are the same, I just took a picture of one. This is Sand.
Here's a swatch of Terra Collection on my hand. From left to right; it's Brick, Sand, and Stone. I took a picture right after swatching. I didn't let it dry.

Here's how it looks on me...
Stone:
This is the first one I grabbed. I was most drawn to this lipstick. Plus, I saw two salesperson wearing this color at Naimies. It looked different on both of them; brown on one and pinky nude on the other. I was curious how it'll look on me.
Here's an overall look. I used Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette on my eyes.

Sand:
The next matte lipstick I used was Sand.
Here's an overall look. It made me look sick. It's definitely not for everyone.
I took off the color right away and reapplied on top of a lip pencil. I used a neutral pinky brown lip pencil to darken the matte lipstick.

Brick:
Here's the last matte lipstick in Brick.
Here's an overall look. This matte lipstick made my teeth white. I loved it but it's not an everyday color or at least for me.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it smells like every other matte lipsticks. The only one I have reviewed on my blog is ULTA Matte Lip Cream in Tender. I have others that need reviewing. They all smell like chemicals but it's not noticeable while applying. I only notice when I sniff the product from the container. Secondly, the consistency is in-between a lipstick and lip gloss. It's extremely thin. It feels like you're applying water onto the lips. It goes on smoothly, does not tug on the lips, not sticky, and it's easy to apply. I highly recommend applying a thin later versus thick. With a thin later, it dries quicker and becomes matte. Once it becomes matte, it's not sticky and it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. The best part is how opaque these products are. I also do not recommend for people who have a lot of lines. It'll be extremely noticeable. Lastly, you don't have to reapply until you eat/drink. They do come off after you eat/drink.

Pros:
* Cute, simple packaging.
* Variety of colors; nude to bright.
* True to color.
* See through color from the package.
* Matte.
* No scent while applying.
* Thin consistency; feels like water.
* Opaque.
* Easy application.
* Smooth consistency.
* Does not tug on the lips.
* Not sticky.
* Not drying.
* Long lasting until you eat/drink.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Recommend hydrating the lips before applying the product.

Would repurchase: Yes!

The only downfall to buying something in a collection is having one colour that does not suit you. Sand looks rather ghastly. Thank goodness it could be saved with a pencil liner underneath. However, loving how Stone looks on you. Really pretty!

Do visit around whenever you're free :)

LOVE that red! as for sand, nudes are sooo hard! it does look a lot better with a liner under it. I love mattes, but I can only use them on "good lip days" aka I'm not chapped at all. Wish mattes were more forgiving

Oh man, I've definitely been seeing a of swatches of these online and have been eyeing them but could totally see Sand not working for me as well! I'd def love to try out these liquid lipsticks out one day from Dose of Colors though. Thanks for sharing!
