November Favorites and Finished Products 2014

I didn't get a chance to do one for the month of October. For this month, November, it's a combination of both.

November Favorites

The Body Shop Body Butter in Mango: I received this from a great friend. She knows how much I love the Body Butter from The Body Shop. So when I received this, I was shocked The Body Butter carries a huge container like this. For the summer, I used lighter moisturizer. Now that it's winter weather, my skin is craving thick moisturizer that hydrates my dry skin. I forgot how much I love this moisturizer! It feels like butter that melts into my skin and hydrates me all day long.

Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat: I've been using this topcoat for a long time. Now that I've used it half-way, I realize how much I really like this. It doesn't dry as fast as Seche Vite but it does dry quickly. I also like that the topcoat doesn't get thick after using it for some time. So far I don't have to thin the topcoat. That's a huge plus for me!

NYX Chunky Dunk Hydrating Lippie in Pomegranate Margarita: I received this lip product at NYX Face Awards 2014. When I first got it, I didn't like the color much. Now that it's fall/winter weather, I'm loving the color! If wine color is too dark for you, this is the perfect light wine color that'll look great on light to medium tone skin. Not only that, it comes in a retractable pencil and it's hydrating.

Crown Brush Flawless Face Blender: I received this and finally decided to test this baby out. In all honesty, I have never used the real one. After using this one, I'm kind of curious now. If it's as good as this one, I'm going to be sold on this blender sponges. I honestly think it's easier than foundation brushes that can leave a streaking texture. With this, I just pat onto my face and it leaves a nice smooth texture.

Vaseline Lip Therapy in Rosy Lips: I mentioned this lip product the last time, September Favorites 2014, and it deserves it again. This product is extremely hydrating. Not only that, it smells great.

November Finished Products
Banila Co. CC it Radiant CC in Melting Pact in Light Beige: I received this sample product when I purchased Memebox in Banila Co. Since this product is discontinued, it won't be the most easiest to find but it's still available especially on Amazon. This is an alright pact for light skin individuals. If you're medium to dark tone, this will be too light for you. I also think it's a good thin to medium consistency.

Would repurchase: It'll be hard.

Sibu Beauty Repair & Protect Sea Buckthorn Daytime Facial Cream: I received this product. Not only is the product natural, it's also extremely good. It's hydrating and not only that, my skin loves this product. My aging skin looks youthful and I noticed less fine lines.

Would repurchase: Yes!

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Gel Mask: I actually won this mask in a Facebook giveaway. If you're looking for pore reducing mask, this isn't it. This mask is great for aging skin who's looking to hydrate. Not only that, it's fun because it has beads. You can see it with our eyes. The only thing is it only lasts for several months. I feel like it's a waste not being able to finish the product. Since it's all natural, the first sign of badness is the beads.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Lancome Bi-Facial Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover: I received this product with gift with purchase. When it comes to eye makeup removers, I tend to go for removers with oil. They tend to remove waterproof products better than non-oily removers. This removes really well and I love how easy it is to use.

Would repurchase: Yes.

J.Crew FACE Stockholm Nail Polish: I received this from a friend. When I opened the package, it was cracked. I still felt that it was usable but unfortunately with time, it dried out. After taking the picture, I threw the product away and cannot remember the name of the polish. I tried searching online but I had no luck. I cannot say if this is a good or bad product since I didn't get a chance to use it.

Would repurchase: No clue.

Seche Restore: I especially bought this for Seche Vite Topcoat. I noticed when I use it half-way, the topcoat gets thick and chunky. It makes it hard to apply onto the nails. For that reason, I need to thin the product. This is a great thinner and it lasts longer than a lot of thinners I have used in the past.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Rite Aid Renewal Strengthening Nail Polish Remover: I bought this remover out of the blue. It's a good remover but in all honesty, I haven't noticed any that is better or less than others.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Victoria's Secret Triple Moisture Body Cream in Berry Flirt: I believe it's a discontinued product since I bought it during their semi-annual sale. It smells really sweet and it's hydrating. I wouldn't say it's completely thick but it's a great moisturizer for summer/fall weather. I definitely wouldn't use it for the winter weather. It's not thick enough.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Essence of Beauty Body & Hand Cream in Japanese Garden: I received this product from CVS. Since the sample size is small, I used it as a hand cream. It smells good. Even though it's supposed to smell like a garden, it doesn't. I wouldn't say it's completely sweet but I like the smell. It's also very light and a great moisturizer for winter weather skin. It's extremely hydrating but it isn't extremely thick. It's also good for summer weather skin.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Aveda Hand Relief: I received this sample from Aveda. When it comes to small moisturizer samples, I tend to carry them in my car and bag. This is a perfect size for my bag and I use it whenever my skin feels dry. I always get a lot of compliments on this product. People like the quality, as well as, the smell. It smells sweet and it lingers for some time. Not only that, the product is thick and hydrating for winter weather skin.

Would repurchase: Yes.

I love the chunky dunks. Ok so maybe the name is part of it too lol. I need to try that vaseline lip balm. for some reason this winter has sucked every ounce of moisture from my lips.

Now that you mention it, Chunky Dunk is a unique name and it does stand out... hehe~ You definitely should try the Vaseline Lip Therapy. It really has helped my dry, crack lips.

Since you tried the Mango Body Butter, you definitely need to try the other scents. They're all so great! Okay, I'm not helping the wallet... hehe~
