Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wearing Eyeshadow, Faerie Holiday Collection 2014

In October 2014, I attended Beauty Press Spotlight Day Event 2014 in Los Angeles.

I took this picture from my Instagram. These were the products I received that day either directly from the brand or in my goody bag. I already reviewed Mirabella Travel Brush Set (bottom middle). I also got Healthilocks Treatment at Salon Benjamin thanks to Healthilocks.
I received three products from Mirabella. It's from their Faerie Holiday Collection 2014. I already reviewed the Mirabella Travel Brush Set (left). Even though it's a travel brush, I use the blush brush every day. It's extremely soft and well-made! For this post, I will review the eyeshadow on the bottom right.

Ingredients:
Isododecane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Polysilicone-11, Trimethysiloxysilicate/Dimethiconal Crosspolymer, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Dimethicone, Isohexadecane, Tin Oxide, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Lecithin, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)
Thoughts: When I first saw this product, I was extremely excited to try this out! Not only was I drawn to the color, I love creamy eyeshadows.
Here's a closer look at the eyeshadow. The color is a little bit darker in the picture and unfortunately, you cannot see the shiny sparkles.
Here's a swatch of the eyeshadow on my hand. It's a little bit lighter than applied but you can see the shiny sparkles.
Here's how the eyeshadow looks on me. I blended it out on the crease with MAC eyeshadow in Mulch.
Here's an overall look on me.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I was expecting a creamy texture. It is creamy but not what I expected. For some odd reason, I thought it'll be like Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo Metal, but it's more like those cushion/sponge-like eyeshadows. I don't own any of those, until now, but I've always been curious about them. Let me tell you, I find it fun! Secondly, I've wore this several times. Each with different tools. I've used eyeshadow brush, fingers, and sponge applicator. The best method in my opinion is between finger and sponge applicator. They apply the most eyeshadow on the lids. Third, I highly recommend you work one eye at a time. Once it's set, it will not budge. Lastly, they go on easily and does not crease. Once it's applied, It lasts all day.

Pros:
* Sturdy packaging.
* Travel-friendly.
* Shiny sparkles.
* Pigmented.
* Cushion/sponge-like.
* Goes on easily.
* Does not crease.
* Lasts all day.
* Paraben-free.
* Talc-free.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Comes only in one color.

Would repurchase: Yes.
Rating:  4/5 Tobey's Paws

This is typically an eyeshadow that I would wear everyday because of its color that is pretty enough to be worn alone or with an eyeliner, the fact that I can apply it with my finger and that it stays all day on the lids xD
