In August (2014), BeautyCon had their second annual event in Los Angeles.

I took this picture from my Instagram. For this post, I will review one nail polish I got from American Apparel.
Product Review: American Apparel in American Denim

Where to purchase: American Apparel and online at store.americanapparel.net
Price: $7 for 15 mL/ 0.5 fl oz

Made in USA

Description from the website: High-quality, quick drying, long lasting opaque nail color in unique shades!
Ingredients:
Thoughts: American Apparel had a line that you get to spin a wheel. Whatever it lands on, that's what you win. I ended up winning a nail polish, and they were kind enough to let you choose whatever color you wanted. For some odd reason, I've been looking for a pale blue nail polish this summer. For that reason, this polish stood out to me.
Here's a closer look at the color and it's very true!
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to OPI (medium width brush), the brush is thinner but the length is long as my nail.
I applied Orly Calcium Shield Basecoat, 2 coats of American Apparel in American Denim, and then topped it off with Butter London Hardwear P.D. Quick Topcoat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the brush is thin but it's long. Since it's long in length, it actually made it easy to paint my nails. Secondly, the consistency of the polish is in-between thin to medium. When you look at the polish, it looks like it'll be medium but it's not. When I applied it onto my nails, it a little bit on the watery side. That's what made it easy to paint my nails. It goes on smoothly, and there's no streaking and bubbles. Third and even though it wasn't the pale blue I'm looking for, it's a gorgeous color in itself. I really love the color but I am still in a hunt for a pale blue (maybe for next summer). Lastly, the longevity is 2 days. When I was looking through my purse, I noticed blue chunks. It's came from the polish on my nails.

Pros:
* Comes in a variety of colors.
* Length of brush is long.
* Consistency is in-between thin to medium.
* Easy to apply.
* Goes on smoothly.
* No streaking.
* No bubbles.
* DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free.

Cons:
* It could be hard to find in stores if you don't have American Apparel.
* Lasted only 2 days.

Would repurchase: No.
Rating:  2.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Love the color but bummed at that wear length. Two days and coming off in chunks is not good =(

I was bummed too! :( When I read the reviews, everyone said it lasted long on them. I have no clue what happened to me. :/
