End of May, I got my hair professional colored by the celebrity colorist Nelson Chan from Nelson j Salon.
You can read my experience of getting Hair Color at Nelson j Salon. I highly recommend going there. It's been a month and my hair is looking good as it did the first day. Not only did I get my hair colored professional, I got some of his products to test out.
I got a hair mask and shampoo. For this post, I'm going to focus on the mask.

Where to purchase: Nelson j Salon and online at nelsonjhaircare.com
Price: $20 for 4 oz/ 120 mL

Made in USA

Description from the website: Nelson j Beverly Hills Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask - Unique 100% Argan Oil derived moisturizing treatment provides long lasting and the most effective result for dry, color-treated, or damaged hair.
Thoughts: To be honest, I never really used a hair mask. I always thought it was the same concept of a conditioner. Oh how, I know nothing about hair!
Here's how the mask looks inside the container.
Here's how the product looks on my hand.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it smells like mint. When it comes to the smell of mints, either I love it or hate it. There's nothing in-between. Some smells are so strong and it can be overwhelming or at least for me. With this smell, I actually like it. It's very refreshing and not that strong that you smell it all day long. Secondly when I first swatched the product before using, I wasn't too sure what to think. It look and felt like a paste. When I actually used the product in the shower, I was amazed. You don't need that much and it works better than a conditioner in every way possible. Even with my long hair, I only take a quarter-size amount of hair mask and run it through my hair with my fingers. It's amazing how quickly you can feel the product soften your hair. Lastly when Nelson Chan dyed my hair, he recommended I shampoo only on the scalp and condition mid-shaft to the ends. That's what I've been doing except I've been using this hair mask as a conditioner. Since my hair dried out from the lightening process, I wanted to condition it until I was able to brush my comb through my hair. This product has been a life saver! In a week of using this product, my hair became soft and shiny. I'm sadden to say I'm almost finished with this product.

Pros:
* Smells like mint.
* A little goes a long way.
* Soften hairs quickly.
* Hair feels silkier.
* Great for people who dyed their hair.

Cons:
* Cannot easily find this in any stores.

Would repurchase: Yes!
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws
