I am fortunate to review another product from Studio Gear. The first product I ever reviewed/own was the Studio Gear Holiday Palette. It's a gorgeous palette with 4 eyeshadows and 1 blush. For that reason, I was extremely excited to review their CC Cream.

Thoughts: Before receiving the full size Hydrating CC Cream, I actually received a sample size in Natural. It's the medium shade. When I received Natural, I realized it was way too dark for my skin. For that reason, I never tried it and put it to the side. So when I received the full size in Linen, I went in with a blank state. I had no opinion of this CC Cream. Plus, it's my first time ever trying CC Cream. Yes, I know it's amazing.
Here's how the packaging of the CC Cream looks. I love that it comes with SPF 20 and it doesn't carry the not-so-great ingredients.
I love that the CC Cream comes in a tube. It's very sanitary safe.
Here's a swatch of the two CC Creams. The one on the left is Linen and Natural is on the right.
Here's how the CC Cream looks when blended out. The one on the left is Linen and Natural is on the right.
Here's how Linen looks on me before the full on makeup. All I have on is primer and the CC Cream.
Here's my overall look. I usually don't wear bright lipsticks but I've been going with the trend. I've been loving bright orange lipsticks.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there hardly is any scent. It's very light and only noticeable if you're nose is close to touching the product. From what I can tell, it's smells very citrus-like. I actually like the smell. Other than that, you will not notice a scent while applying the CC Cream. Secondly, I'm not too sure why but I've noticed American BB/CC Creams are different than Asians. They tend to be white and you have to blend the cream for the color of the product to come out. Asians aren't like this. They already have the color and they oxidizes to your skin. I find this interesting and different. I'm not too sure if it's a good or bad thing. I also noticed BB/CC Creams are darker than the normal skin tone. I usually can pull of medium foundation but with BB/CC Creams, I have to go lighter. Third, I found this CC Cream very sheer. I can apply layers and layers but it wouldn't hide some of my imperfection. Even though it was sheer, it gave me a lot of color and it neutralized my skin tone to one color. If you're looking for a medium to heavy coverage, this wouldn't be the product. If you're looking for light, this would be good. It reminds me of tinted moisturizer more than anything else. Lastly, it lasted all day on me with a mixture of powder. The main concept or at least from what I noticed is hydration. I wouldn't say the product is hydrating but it definitely isn't drying.

Pros:
* Sun protection, SPF 20.
* Sanitary safe.
* Travel-friendly.
* No scent that is noticeable.
* Neutralizes the skin tone.
* Not drying.
* Lasted all day.

Cons:
* Sheer.
* Did not cover imperfections.

Would repurchase: No, I want more a coverage.
Rating:  2.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Hi sweet Alyssa.
Good job, this CC cream is interesting, but for my skin doesn't fit, because I need hydration.
Kisses and have a sweet weekend

I didn't think that this would have any coverage! It doesn't look like it has any color coming out of the tube.

I love the way it neutralized your skin tone. Looks really good. Every bb and cc cream I ever had didn't cover any of my major imperfections either.

Thank you! :)

Would you? I noticed CC Creams seem sheerer than BB Creams or maybe it's just me... lol~

You have to blend the product to get the color. I noticed that's a very typical thing with American BB/CC Creams. I'm not to sure why. :/

You should try Asian BB Creams. They cover a lot better than Americans or at least for me. :X
