Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 3

Disclaimer: I am an ambassador for Aveeno. I am not getting paid to advertise this challenge. This post is written with my honest opinion.

This Personal Tuesday should had been up last week. If you read my last post, Manicure Monday: PaintFab in Modern Mauvels, you would have known I was really sick and still am slightly. I've had or it should be I have strep throat for more than a week. It's been about a week and a half, and I'm still fighting it. Anyone know a natural cure other than go see a doctor? I want to cure it naturally since I already did antibiotic drops for my pink eyes. I've read too much antibiotics isn't good. I also had pink eyes which was cured yesterday. Thank goodness! Anyways, back to the topic. Even though it's a week late, I've always believed it's better late than never.

Aveeno started a 3 week challenge several weeks ago and it ended two weeks ago.

"Spring is a great time to start fresh! So, to kick-off spring, we are challenging YOU to take the #AveenoDailyChallenge - for three weeks to a healthier and more beautiful you.

It's simple... 1) Use AVEENO® Daily moisturizing Lotion every day for three weeks 2) select and integrate one additional healthy habit of your choosing.

* Sleep more
* Eat healthier
* Drink more water
* De-stree/mediate/reflect/take time for myself
* Daily exercise"

My challenge was to sleep more. You can read why I choose that challenge (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge), my first week struggle (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 1), and my fail second week but learned about myself (Personal Tuesday: Aveeno Daily Challenge, Week 2). For the third week, I wanted to get into bed at 12 a.m. Sunday to Thursday. Since I can sleep in on the weekends, that was not an issue. At the same time once I'm in bed, not to use the cell phone. Since I was sick with the strep throat. I took NyQuil and that zonked me out. I had no problems. Even though I'm still taking NyQuil and I'm not having problems sleeping, I want to take this challenge with me after I stop taking NyQuil. I strongly believe in sleeping. It's good both mentally and physically. I want to better myself and it's all about baby steps. Thank you Aveeno for this challenge because it gave me a push.
I wanted to update my bed. For this challenge, I washed and changed all the sheets and comforter. Now that the challenge is over. I'm impressed I didn't mess up my bed that much. I still need to work on the bottom corner.

strep is the one thing I always go to the doc for, but that could be cuz when I get it...I get it BAD (throat so swollen its hard to breathe) I love anything with honey to help, chloraseptic (so cant spell) spray works too. I also suck on a lot of ice cubes cuz the cold water feels really good. Get better soon! I know you're not having much fun =(

Strep is nothing nice. I had it when I was in elementary school (so that was a longggg time ago. LOL) I just went to the doctor, but I understand how you feel. I hope someone provides a solution for you Ahleessa. Your bed makeover looks great girl! And good for you in completing everything. I LOL at your comment. Everyone thinks I'm part Asian. I'm truly mixed with a lot of things. I wonder what our next Aveeno challenge will be? If you hear anything, leave me a comment girl. Have a great day.

Wow, your strep is really bad! Mine just hurt like sore throat/swollen tonsil. Growing up I would only have sore throat for 2 days maximum. This is the first time I had it for 2 weeks. I don't ever want to go through this again! It was miserable. I couldn't eat and even drinking was hard. Thankfully, I'm finally better. I didn't think of chloraseptic (I can't spell either). I'll definitely will remember next time.

Whoa! When I read your comment, I got scared. Thankfully, that day my strep started feeling better. I never had sore throat for 2 weeks before. I thought my tonsil was swollen and I had to get it removed. I got paranoid... lol~ :X

Thank you! I feel so much better. I had sore throat for 2 weeks. The most I ever had in the past was 2 days. I thought I had to get my tonsil removed. I'm glad it wasn't that... hehe~ :X

I see Asian in your eyes that's why I thought you were part.

I have no idea if there will have more challenges. This is the first time they ever had it since I became an ambassador. I'll definitely will tell you if I hear anything. :)

I know we are supposed to focus on the challenge here, but your comforter is so cute! And that plushie in the corner is cute too! Does it ever end up on the floor?

Thank you! My dad bought me this comfortable. Of course, I choose the one I wanted... hehe~ No, Patrick does not fall. The only time it's on the floor is when my bratty nieces and nephew are over. :/
