A good friend gifted me Urban Decay Naked3 for Christmas. I was so stoked that she would buy this for me. Thank you! :)
I took this picture from my Instagram. This was my gift from the sweet friend. She got me Naked3, Nars nail polish, and Koh Gen Do foundation. For this post, I will focus on Naked3.
Product Review: Urban Decay Naked3

Where to purchase: Sephora, ULTA, department stores, and online at urbandecay.com
Price: $52 for 12 x 1.3 g/ 0.05 oz

Made in USA

Description from the back: Get ready to experiment with 12 TOTALLY NEW (and insanely beautiful) rose-hued neutrals, ALL EXCLUSIVE to this set. Choose from every finish imaginable: ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls and glimmering metallics. From the palest, shimmery pink to the deepest black matte with read micro-glitter (aptly named Blackheart), these neutrals will make you want to get Naked all over again.
Thoughts: When this came out end of last year, it was the biggest thing. I heard so many people were purchasing and for that reason, the website had glitches. When my friend told me she tried purchasing during that time, it really meant a lot to me that she would spend the time to get this for little old me. It really means a lot to me!
To be honest, this isn't my first Naked palette. I actually own all three. I have not reviewed Naked and Naked2. When I purchased Naked and Naked2, there were so many reviews and thought my post wouldn't mean anything. :X Here's all three in comparison. They're the same in dimension but there's differences in packaging. Naked palette is suppose to be in the bronze family, Naked2 is on the taupe, and Naked3 is rose-gold; but they're all in the neutral family.
Here's a closer look at the packaging. It's made out of metal and there's ridges. I love how you can distinguish all three Naked palettes.
Here's how it looks in the inside.
Here's a look at the 12 eyeshadows.
Here's a closer look at some of the eyeshadows. Aren't they pretty!?!?
Before I show you the swatches, the palette came with a duo eyeshadow brush.
Here's a closer look at the bigger, rounded end.
A closer look at the other end, the smaller flat end. To be honest, the brushes seem pretty decent but I cannot say. I have not used the brushes and most likely won't use it for some time. I'm not a big fan of double ended brushes. I put my brushes standing up in a container. It's hard to do that with double ended brushes.
It also came with 4 samples of eyeshadow primers from Original to Sin. I'm not too sure but I'm thinking of having a post comparing the primers. What do you think?
Now for the swatches from left to right in the palette... The left is Strange, middle is Dust, and the right one is Burnout.
The left one is Limit, Buzz, and then Trick.
The left is Nooner, Liar, and Factory.
The last three are Mugshot, Darkside, and Blackheart.

Now for looks I did with this palette...
Look #1:
A bronze-y eye look.
An overall look and it's the same look from Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Celestial.
Look #2:
A pinkish brown look.
Overall look and it's the same as NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops.
Look #3:
A rose-gold look.
An overall look on me.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all and like all Urban Decay eyeshadows, they're pigmented and easy to work with. I have to say Urban Decay is probably one of my favorite brands when it comes to eyeshadows. They're just pretty, pigmented, and easy to blend. Secondly, the names of the eyeshadows are unique. I compared them to the other Naked palettes and none of them have similar eyeshadow names. With that said, would I say they're unique in colors? Unfortunately, Naked3 is not unique or at least in my opinion. I think you can find similar shades in Urban Decay (single or palettes) and other brands. Even though they're not unique in colors, I love how they're all together that you can mix and match. I tend to grab palettes over singles. They're just easy to work with, as well as, you don't have to dig for other singles. Not only that, you don't have to think hard because all the eyeshadows are suppose to match each other. Finally, I think this is just worth it. It's travel-friendly. You don't have to worry about breaking, as well as, who doesn't need more neutral eyeshadow colors!

Pros:
* Urban Decay; one of my favorite brands when it comes to eyeshadows.
* All Naked palettes are the same dimension making it easy to store.
* All Naked palettes come with different packaging making it easy to distinguish them apart.
* Comes with 12 eyeshadows from matte to metallic.
* Rose-gold neutral palette.
* Travel-friendly.
* Comes with a brush.
* Pigmented.
* Easy to blend.
* It's Naked palette!!!

Cons:
* Colors are not unique.

Would repurchase: Yes!

Thank you! Now that you mention it, the packaging did get fancier. I never noticed... hehe~ I actually like Naked and Naked2 better. They're more my typical colors. Do you have Naked3?

I love the fact that it came with all 4 primers! I found that each sachet lasted a REALLY long time as well, which is awesome :) I've been using the Anti-Aging one since I got it in Jan :D

To be honest, I haven't tried any of the primers. I need to play around with them and see which one works best for me.

I hope you're doing well!

What a great gift from your friend. Love the rose bronze colour, my opinion is, you can never have too many neutral shades to choose from.
Cheers,

Those are very pretty colors. I love the way you combined them. Eye makeup palettes are always a fun gift. I've gotten some Sephora ones in the past and given them too...always well received.

Hmmm…I appreciate your review. I have the Naked palette and I adore it! I’ve been wondering about getting the other
two, but I’m still on the fence. I’d
really like to have a whole Naked palette with them all being matte
though. Does it exist? Lol! Stopping by from #SITSblogging

Very nice! I love a neutral palette so I think this is perfect.

There's a smaller palette with 5 or 6 matte shades. You should look into it on the Urban Decay website.
