Happy Halloween!!!

This past weekend, October 26-27, was the Los Angeles Ultimate Women's Expo.
It was held at Los Angeles Convention Center. I believe it's an annual thing but I'm not too sure. This was my first time attending. The Ultimate Women's Expo are also held in Arizona, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago, and Georgia. You should check out the website if you can attend any of those cities.

If you're like me and you have no idea what LA Women's Expo is about, it's basically to celebrate the women we are. Everything from shopping, drinking, relaxation, and so on are all in one area. I met up with a friend and attended Saturday, October 26. Let me tell you if you're planning on attending this next year, expect to spend the whole day there. It's really big!!! I was not even able to see everything. I also want to apologize I didn't take many pictures. I noticed I get so absorbed into things that I forget about taking pictures. Here are the pictures I did take. :X
This was by Toni & Guy Academy. The students were either cutting the hair or blow drying on stage. Right in front of the stage, the students braided the hair. My friend and I really wanted a hair cut. I heard last year they wrote your name and went through the list. I wish they did that this year but unfortunately, they had a drawing each time an empty seat was available. We actually sat there for an hour hoping our names were called. We couldn't wait any longer so we moved on.

The other things available other than hair cuts/blow dry were manicure, makeover, facial massages, and body massages.
Not only that, they even had Michaels. This was the only truck inside. You get to step inside and either make a bracelet (which I did) or necklace or both.

I had to take a picture of the lady painting the yellow rose. She's amazing!
Out of the three painted roses (yellow, blue, and pink), I had to take a picture of this one. It's my favorite and I wish I had this in my room! I love how it's cut into three pieces. It'll be gorgeous inside someone's house. :)
The rest were shopping! Here are the things I picked up or bought. I got the mouse headbands and hair ties for a $1 each. I also got a shirt, the white with blue/red fingerprint, for $5.

Now that I know better, I definitely know how to organize myself for next year! :)

The painting you took a picture of is beautiful. I haven't heard of the Women's Expo but that's a neat way to spend the day with girlfriends :)

Yeah, I had fun with my girlfriend. :) I kind of felt bad because I was looking at each booth. Towards the end of the day, a lot of booths were closed. It's all good, she went again the next day... hehe~
