December Favorites and Finished Products

Time sure flies! This will be my last favorites and finished products for 2012. I just hope I finish the same amount or even more this coming year, 2013.

December Favorites
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion: With this dry, winter weather my skin has been extremely dry. This moisturizing lotion has helped my skin tremendously. I love that this moisturizer doesn't moisture my skin for in-between showers only. It actually makes it better with each usage. I also like that it's fragrance free. I prefer my  body products to be either fruity or not smell at all. I cannot image applying a product that smells like oatmeal.

Vivite Exfoliating Facial Cleanser: I've had this facial cleanser for quite some time. Since I only use a drop size of a dime and exfoliate once or twice a week depending on how much I think I need exfoliating, it takes some time to use up all the product. The reason why I mentioning this is because I just read my review on this product. I've had this tube since June 2011. Whoa even I'm in shocked by that! :X Either I need to exfoliate more often or the amount of product in this tube is worth the cost. Even though this isn't a well known brand, I highly recommend this product. It exfoliates and cleans in one step, as well as, it works well!

N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder: This is the bronzer I bring out ever winter. It fits my pale NC25, MAC foundation, skin. At first, I did not like this product because it was too orange. It actually isn't orange when you apply it. It's more on the bronze color. I also love that it is matte. It makes it a great contouring color for my cheeks which is non-existence, sides of my jaws, and double chin (I will need to lose  weight in 2013).

Smith's Rosebud Salve: I've had this for a long time too! I use this every night before bed, as well as, the first thing in the morning. It's extremely hydrating and the container lasts a long time. At first, I was not too keen on the smell but it actually grows on you.

L'oreal Colour Riche Smokey Eyes in Sultry Seductress: I love the color mixture, as well as, the application. It just blends well together and looks beautiful. I love it! You can read my post and looks I came out with this palette.

December Finished Products
Blinc Brush It On...Slide It Off! Eyeliner: This is a liquid liner that's really easy to use. You glide it on and let it dry. Once it's dry, it will not smudge and last all day. Not only is it easy to apply, it's easy to remove. I still remove it with makeup remover. It comes out like a strip of black tape. You can read my review on this product.

Would repurchase: Maybe.

Nudecos Toner: I used this most mornings. There has been times I forget or don't have the time to use it. :X  This is the first product I use in the morning after cleansing. It adds some moisture, hydration then I followed with a serum. The application of the serum after the toner was smoother. Since I have dry skin, the toner gave me some hydration. If I used the serum without a toner, my skin would sink in and would require more. You can read my thorough review.

Would repurchase: Not this brand since it's hard to get here.

Scented Body Creme in Coconut Lime Verbana: This isn't a well known brand, but it's a great product! You can check out my thorough review. This product is so hydrating for a light product. It's even great for the winter dry weather. It also smells great! You smell more a lime than coconut.

Would repurchase: Yes!

I bought two earrings this past month at Forever 21.
It's a bronze-y green with white crystals. I was drawn to the color, bronze-y green. It's so unique!
This is a simple silver with white crystals.

For some odd reason, I have been into ribbon earrings. :X

Disclaimer: The products mentioned in this post are bought with my own money except Aveeno, Vivite, Blinc, Nudecos, and Scented. I am not affiliated with any company nor getting paid to advertise any products. This post is written with my honest opinion.

I am currently into earrings too!! I have a pair very similar to the silver pair you bought except mine is from the Sportsgirl brand. I have been looking for a dainty pair of ribbon earrings that is silver with no crystals - just a plain one, but haven't found any that I like yet.

I haven't tried the NYC bronzer and I don't think they stock the brand in my local Priceline (drugstore) but I want to try it because I want a bronzer for fair skin. I have had a not-so-good experience with bronzers where they look muddy (I have awful photo evidence hahaha). I want to eventually find the right one because I think it gives a gorgeous glow in the summer when using the right shade! My goal this year is to lose weight too. Good luck to both of us! Haha

The Blinc eyeliner sounds very interesting.. I'm a self-proclaimed eyeliner junkie so this kind of product really intrigues me ;p

i have those bow earrings from f21 too! i had them in 2011 and they're still here with me :) i also purchased the NYC bronzer and I haven't used it that much until recently. I noticed my face got paler this winter and it also got rounder! sometimes i wonder if it slims down my face since its sheer. i feel like my hoola bronzer is too much sometimes..

I have never heard of Sportsgirl brand. Is that an Australian brand? Good luck finding the silver ribbon earrings with no crystals. I know how hard it can be finding something you like! when it comes to earrings, I"m so picky. I think that's why I don't buy earrings that often... hehe~ :X

I heard the NYC bronzer is discontinued, but not 100% sure on that. If you really want the bronzer, I can check around to see if there's anything here but I cannot guaranteed anything.

You look skinny to me. You don't need to lose weight. :P

It's a great eyeliner! Since you're an eyeliner junkie, you would like it... hehe~

Oh wow, the ribbons earrings have been around for years... hehe~

Yeah, I noticed the NYC bronzer works better on me at the moment than any other bronzer. I think NYC bronzer only works for paler skin. For darker skin, it'll hardly show. My other bronzers work better during the summer season when I'm darker.

Yeah, Sportgirl is a local fashion brand here =) They have some nice things there including accessories. I guess its kinda similar to Forever21 there?

Aww thanks for the offer but that's okay ^_^ I might try some local bronzers here first and see how I go. I wonder if Korean brands would have nice bronzers (although I think generally Koreans don't wear bronzers?).

I am definitely not skinny lol. I have gained a few kgs over the past year. I feel really bloated especially the face! haha

I learned something new today... hehe~ Sportgirl is a fashion brand in Australia. Yeah, we have Forever 21.

Now to think about it, I hardly see Koreans use bronzers over time. Maybe you are correct!

Then we both need to exercise and lose the weight... hehe~ Good luck!

Hahaha they say you learn something new everyday~~ I know aye?! I don't think Koreans are into bronzers, maybe more contouring. Haha, yes, good luck to you too!

Ahleessa said...

But don't they contour with bronzers? What do they use to contour?

Popblush said...

I think they use a matte bronzer.. so more like a pure contour shade. Where as I am actually looking for a bronzer with shimmer golden shimmers in it..

Oh if that's the case, you will not like the NYC Bronzer. It's matte.
