Kryolan High Gloss Brilliant Lip Shine

I was fortunate to receive full sized products from GlossyBox. If you don't know about GlossyBox or curious to know what I received, read my post. I wrote everything you need to know. ;) One of the products I received was Kryolan High Gloss Brilliant Lip Shine.
Product Review: Kryolan High Gloss Brilliant Lip Shine in Toffee

Where to purchase: online at kryolan.com
Price: $18.10 for 0.135 oz/ 4 mL

Made in Germany

Description from GlossyBox brochure: This lip gloss is filled with pearl pigments that supply your lips with extraordinary radiance. *Exclusive to Glossybox before Kryolan's US launch.
Ingredients:
Thoughts: I've always heard of Kryolan, but I never tried their products. It makes it difficult to try products that isn't reachable or at least that's what I think. :X To be honest, this is the product I was most excited about seeing in the GlossyBox! Not only was I excited about Kryolan, I was ecstatic about the color!!! It's so my color. :)

Here's how the color looks in natural light.
A swatch of the color. It's on the peachy-beige color. Speaking of color, it's very opaque. I wasn't expecting that especially with the color choice. I'm pretty impressed, and a little goes a long way with this lip gloss.

Not only do I like the color, it smells heavenly! When I first tried it, it reminded me of coffee, but a sweet scent like vanilla. It's also not overbearing when it came to the scent. It lasted a good minute or two.
Most lip gloss either comes in a sponge-tip applicator or a brush. This one comes in a brush. It's actually pretty fitting since the color is so opaque. The brush helps spread the lip gloss on the lips.
To top it off they have their cute logo on the top of the packaging. I really like their logo! It's so unique and adorable. :)
Here's how the color looks on my lips. I also think this is a perfect color if you want to put on the middle of your lips to add a pop of shine and color! ;)

Pros:
* Kryolan; professional makeup brand.
* Cute logo.
* Comes with a brush applicator.
* Smells like coffee.
* Scent isn't overbearing.
* Color is opaque.
* Long lasting.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Not too sure what the color choices are.
* On the sticky side.

Would repurchase: Yes!
Rating:  4.5/5 Tobey's Paws

Thank you Kryolan and GlossyBox!!! :)

Anjolee Jewelry

Please don't forget to enter Aveeno Energizing Body Lotion Giveaway. It ends May 19, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST (Pacific time).

I want to wish every mother out there Happy Mother's Day!!! :)

I love finding new websites since there are so many in this world of technology. I recently found Anjolee. Anjolee is a manufacturer of high-end diamond jewelry with over 35 years experience. Their philosophy is "dedicated to providing the top level of service to its customers." They have trained customer service representatives, committed to customer satisfaction, high quality images with 360 degree angle, and guarantees the quality of their products will go beyond expectations. Not only that, but they have A+ rating with Better Business Bureau (BBB) and conforms to Kimberly Act of 2003. If you don't know what Kimberly Act of 2003 is, it's a "law adopting the Kimberly Process which requires all US diamond retailers to buy all their diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the diamonds were obtained through legitimate channels." It doesn't hurt to try since they also have 30 day money back guarantee.

Once you decide to buy from this website, you get to select your own design from the many choices.
They have diamond bracelets,

diamond pendants, and so on from earrings to rings. Then you get to customize the metal (yellow gold, white gold, or platinum), the diamond weight and quality, and the size. The best part of this website is that you, the customer, is in control of your own jewelry!!! :)

The recent trend is monthly subscriptions. There's jewelries, shoes, t-shirts, lingerie, and so on. There's also different subscriptions sampling beauty products. Out of the ones from sampling beauty products, I was most excited about GlossyBox. The best part they recently launched in the U.S.!!! :)

GlossyBox is a "global leader in prestige beauty sampling subscription services." They are currently available in 19 counties from Japan, Canada, Italy, and recently in U.S. GlossyBox has partnered "with prestigious companies such as Clarins, Laura Mercier, Lancome, NARS, Dermalogica, and Shiseido." Once you sign up, you will have a series of questions to answer. Not only will you get a minimum of 5 deluxe travel size samples and 1 full size product (edit: you do not get 5 full size products), you will also get a beautiful box.

I was fortunate to receive April's GlossyBox!
There's a reason why I took the picture backyard. I was too excited about the package that I forgot to take a picture before opening! :X I took it backyard to show you the package.
Here's the inside of the package.
Now for the gorgeous box! I'm really in love with the box. It's extremely sturdy, durable, and just plain pretty. :)
Here's the inside of the box. I wanted to show you the box before I talk about the products.

Aveeno Smart Essentials Nighttime Moisture and Aveeno Giveaway

I actually received this last year, and forgot all about it until this winter. My bad! :X I always believe it's better to do it now than never do it at all. I thought it's about time I review it since I'm almost done with the product.

Where to purchase: drugstores, mass merchandiser, or online at aveeno.com
Price: $14.99 for 1.7 oz/ 48 g

Made in NJ

Description on the back:
oil-free - hypoallergenic - noncomedogenic

Get great, healthy looking skin when you moisturize at night. Diet, free-radicals, environmental toxins, and a hectic lifestyle can lead to stressed skin that looks dull and tired. Formulated with antioxidant Southernwood extract, Smart Essentials nighttime moisture infusion helps keep what's good for your skin in, and what's bad out. It replenishes skin's moisture barrier while you sleep so you can wake up to skin that feels refreshed, renewed and ready to take on another day.

Smart skincare that knows what your skin needs and what it doesn't because:

it keeps the good in
* Hydrates your skin to help offset dryness caused by environmental stressors
* Helps support the natural moisture reserves of your skin during its nightly renewal phase, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth
* Infuses skin with a blend of antioxidants and vitamins

and the bad out
* Fortifies your skin's moisture barrier to hep resist the attack of daily environmental stress
Ingredients:
Thoughts: When it comes to night creams, I get really excited! With my aging skin, I feel that I need more of a thicker product. I was really excited to get this. The reason why it took so long to use this is that I feel that once you open up a product, you have to use it right away or else it won't be as effective. That's only for skin care. I don't feel that way with cosmetics. Once it's open, germs can go in and the air inside the sealed package will not be the same. Since I was using a night cream, I waited until I could use this.

The first thing I did once I opened the package is smell the product. I'm not too sure what the smell is. It's definitely floral. In all honesty, it bothered me in the beginning since I'm not a floral person. After a week, the smell did not bother me at all. I actually don't mind the smell. :) If you're a floral person, this is perfect. Even if you're not a floral person, it might not be bad. I'm just sensitive when it comes to smell.
Now for the consistency of the night cream, it's on the creamier side. It isn't thick but it actually hydrates pretty well! I like how it spreads on the face, as well as, the cooling sensation. It definitely helped me with my dry, winter weather. I recommend this for someone who is mid to dry skin. I actually think it's pretty good for normal skin as well

I love that it's oil-free. I cannot stand products that have oil. I'm not too sure why we would want to put oil on our face. Most people including myself want the dry, glowy skin rather than greasy, oily face. I could be wrong on that. :X

It also has vitamins A, C, & E, as well as, antioxidants. These are suppose to help your skin resist the daily environmental stresses.

Pros:
* Aveeno; a brand that uses natural ingredients.
* Vitamins A, C, & E.
* Antioxidants.
* Oil-free, hypoallergenic, noncomedgenic, & dermatologist-tested.
* Get use to scent.
* Creamy texture.
* Hydrating.
* Help resist the attack of daily environmental stresses.

Cons:
* Floral scent; only if you don't like.

Would repurchase: Yes.

April Favorites and Finishes Products

I didn't do this last month, March, and it's a good thing I didn't. I hardly finished any products. :X I finished one product which I included for this month.

April Favorites
Rock & Republic Blush in Call Me: I love Rock & Republic blushes which makes me sad that they discontinued this line! :( They were doing so well and so many people loved this including myself. I personally only own three Rock & Republic blushes, and I have to say this is my favorite. If you want to see a swatch and other blushes I own, check out my post. The things I love about Rock & Republic blushes is the staying powder, texture, color choices, pigmentation, and so on. Call Me is just a neutral color that you can wear everyday!

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Energizing Body Lotion: Since January, all I've been putting on my body is Aveeno lotions. I love their lotions, because they're moisturizing and protects your skin from dryness. Out of all the Aveeno lotions I've been using, this has to be my favorite because of the scent! I did a thorough review on this lotion so feel free to check it out. :)

CoverGirl LashBlast 24HR Mascara: I've been loving the volume this mascaras gives my lashes! Having Asian lashes, either they're short or I don't have many. The mascara does not lengthen, but it has volumized. I love the look of my curled lashes with eyeshadow on. I have done a thorough review on this mascara as well. Feel free to read it.

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat: I've finished my Out The Door Top Coat and decided to get this again. The first time I used this top coat I had a great experience, it was fast drying and my nails were really shiny. I had an okay overall experience with Out The Door, but it couldn't beat the great experience I had from Seche Vite. Now that I started using this again this month, I realized why I love Seche Vite! :)

Make Up For Ever Lipstick in N19: Oh my goodness this color is love!!! I love how it looks on my lips. :) It's such a gorgeous baby pink. I will be reviewing this lipstick soon so you don't have to worry about the thorough review. Other than the color, my lips look shiny and it's suppose to moisturize your lips. What more can you ask!

April Finished Products
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer: The reason behind primers is to cover up your flaws. My flaws are wrinkles and pores especially on my nose. I need primer to make my pores look smoother so the foundation, in my case I use BB Creams, will not sink in and make it more noticeable. This primer has helped and for that reason I actually liked it. I wrote a thorough review on this so feel free to check it out.

Would repurchase: Yes.

Aveda Hydrating Formula Lotion: I'm not too sure when I got this, but I believe it was last year. Aveda has a lot of freebies and I usually take up on the offers. It's a perfect lotion when your skin isn't completely dry from the winter weather and it's getting ready for the summer weather. I still think it's a lot better than Bath & Body Works lotions. It's a lot more creamier than Bath & Body Works, but it hydrates better. The one thing I'm not too keen about Aveda is the fragrance choices. Most of them are musky or floral scents. I wish they would have more fruity scents for people like me. :X

Would repurchase: No.

INM Out The Door Top Coat: When I first got this, I actually liked this top coat. It seemed fast drying, as well as, left my nails shiny. Compared to Seche Vite, it wasn't fast drying. Compared to others I have tried, there was no comparison. This is a lot better than the ones I have tried! During the middle, I noticed the top coat started getting thick but I also noticed that with Seche Vite. I think all top coats eventually get thick after some time. That's why we all need nail thinners, a solution that thins nail polishes. I own one and love it. Once you start using that, the nail polishes lose it's value since it's diluted with a thinner. I reviewed this top coat so feel free to read it. One thing I really disliked about this top coat is the sticker around the bottle. It's hard to tell where you're at. For that reason, I ended up removing the sticker a bit as you can tell from the picture. :X

Would repurchase: No.

Equate Nourishing Nail Polish Remover: I got this from Walmart so I have no idea if this is sold in other stores. It's an alright remover. I really cannot tell if one remover is better than another. They all remove nail polishes, and that's what I look for in a remover. :/

Would repurchase: Maybe.
