Flat Iron and What Do You Think About Them?

Growing up, I felt blessed with straight hair because friends would always tell me they wished they're hair would be as straight as mine. One day at the Korean mall, a lady approached me and asked if I wanted a straight perm. Let me tell you I was in shocked when she told me that!... lol~ In my mind, I was thinking what is she on. I have straight hair. :P That day I looked in the mirror and to my realization, I realized it's not that straight compared to people who got straight perm. That is when I first considered getting a flat iron. My first flat iron was a cheap one from Costco... hehe~ I didn't care if it was an expensive brand as long as it worked. Of course, I moved onto an expensive brand and let me tell you what a difference! Have you ever looked through hair straightener reviews?

While looking through the reviews, I noticed #1 and #3 are both from the same brand and that #3 is best hair straightener for curly hair.
I might not have curly hair, but I think it would be great to straighten my semi-straight hair. It'll also be great to use it to curl my hair.

What flat iron do you own? Do you use it to straighten, curl, or both? What do you think about flat iron?

I have a HairArt flat iron, but never use it! It's for both straightening and curling, and it just sits in my drawer 'cause it takes too long to use. Sectioning off hair, clipping pieces out of the way, it just takes too long! I have straight Asian hair, but prefer it to be beachy and wavy. I just twist my hair up and let it air dry to make it wavy, no heat needed.

lol. i'm that way with irons. as long as it works, i'm okay with an inexpensive one. i don't use it everyday anyway. in addition to a flat iron, i have two curling irons. a big one and a little one. i hardly use them too. maybe i should use my flat iron more. i don't have the straightest hair in the world after all. i am thinking of getting a pricier brand...when i can afford it. right now, i'm using my revlon one. hehe...

i noticed that about chains of stores. one location would have certain items while another one would have different ones. it's pretty strange. i heard some CVS stores carry NYX. not my location though. hehe... i'm wondering if the target here would carry the NP palettes then.

yup, i actually do use waterproof mascara after curling my lashes. today, it did the trick. on other days, they just point straight. today they curled upward though. maybe because i put two coatings. i don't know. i guess i had a good lash day today. hahaha... :D

I have a wet/dry flat iron and I love it! My hair is just wavy, not pretty curls, just huge watch-out-that-head-of-hair-might-eat-you kinda hair. My flat iron is the only weapon that seems to work against it.
