Several months ago I did a review on the Maybelline Stylish Smokes in Natural Smokes (click here to see the review and a look I came up with). I liked the palette so much I ended up buying another Stylish Smokes... hehe~ This time I got it in Charcoal Smokes.

(clockwise from top left: lid color, crease, outer corner, and brow bone)

I also swatched the palette on my hand.
(l-r: lid, crease, brow bone, and outer corner)

The top two colors are more towards grayish-brown colors (lid and crease color), the silver is very shimmery (brow bone), and the black color has silver specks (outer corner).

Here's what I came up with.
I only used three out of the four colors from the palette. If you want to know what I used, please feel free to ask. I usually don't post what I used since no one seems interested... lol~ :X In all honestly, I like these palettes a lot!!! I think I like them better than the EyeStudio from Maybelline (click here to see my post on these palettes)... hehe~ :X These make great day to night smokey look!... wheee~ :)

I'm going to end this post with my Sasa haul I did end of last year... lol~ I know I'm really behind but it's better later than never... hehe~ :D End of last year when PayPal was giving a free $20 and shipping promotion, I couldn't refuse so I gave in and bought some stuff... hehe~ I wanted to buy some My Beauty Diary masks but unfortunately most of them were sold out. :/ It's all good though because I got three of them... wheee~ :)
I bought Beauty Mate Nano Mask in Moisturizing and Revitalizing (blue box), three My Beauty Diary Masks in Japanese Cherry Blossom and Mixed Berry, a blush, and I got a free mirror... wheee~

I will review the masks later on when I feel confident to talk about them... hehe~ For that reason, I won't put an individual pictures of them. ;)

I kept seeing this blush in the beauty blogging world (you enablers... hehe~ :P) and I couldn't refuse the cute packaging! With this opportunity, I had to get it!... hehe~
This is Beauty Maker Love Pu Pu blush in pink. When I first opened this package, it scared me because it looked pretty pink in the container... hehe~ Thankfully, it isn't on me... wheee~ Isn't the puff so cute and the bow on the top container? So cute!!! :D
I swatched the blush on my hand. The first thing that went through my head is it isn't as bright as it is in the container and it looks like a typical color a lot of Korean actresses wear on drama shows... yippie~ Maybe I can have skin like the Korean actresses... lol~ :P

Here's how the blush looks on me. I look nothing like the Korean actresses!... lol~ Them and their perfect skin! I hate my freckles!!!... eek~ :X
They also gave me a free cookie mirror. It's chocolate flavored with a comb inside... wheee~

It's so pretty! You did a good job in applying the eye shadow. It looks so flawless. I hope you can do a tutorial on this as I'm not good with eye shadows. I've been wearing eye shadows for a year now but I can't seem to get it right. :(

Lots of love,

Those Maybelline Stylish Smokes quads are great for anyone in a hurry and doesn't have time to sort through lots of eyeshadows to find the colors for a smokey eye. I haven't picked up any of the quads myself but I keep finding myself going back to the display and looking at them lol. I already have a lot of the same colors in those quads in my collection already, but perhaps if my drugstore had BOGOF sales, I'd pick up both.

That packaging for the blush is soo cute! For a second there I thought it was a Hello Kitty blush because of the box on the packaging. Are you able to re-use the container when you're done with the blush?

Do you have any tips for toilet training and getting them used to their leash? like my pup (Sammy) hates his leash with a passion, he refuses to walk with it and tries to bite it off :S

thanks darl!

I know that you mean - we all want to look like those actresses don't we! They all just look so flawless :p

But I'm glad you like those shades. I'm exciting for Maybelline - they've came out w/ lots of great colors and awesome new formulations.

The quad looks great on you! Which shades did you use?

Mandy: Thank you for visiting my blog, as well as, commenting! :) One of the readers asked for a tutorial which I will do soon, hopefully tomorrow if I have the chance... hehe~ Just in case, I'll tell you. I used the lid color on the lid, crease on the crease and outer V, and the brow bone in the middle of the lid to add some sparkle. I also used the crease color on the bottom lid. I hope that helped! :)
